Actually, Robin says that she asked him prior to the interview to talk about Rihanna and he agreed. She told him which questions were coming. She was confused at his response and actually thought he was joking...cuz she just told him what she was gonna ask. Not to mention in the years since, he has had other incidents that indicate his anger & rage problems are part & parcel of a bigger problem. Just when it seems he has gotten his act together, he makes the news with another blow-up that puts him back to where he started. Plus, many fans & musicgoers do not have memories as short as people think. When someone who did something terrible attempts to get back in the public's good graces, someone is going to remind them of what that person did & their minds will go to that, not to the person's new product or if they have changed their ways. One negative incident is too many for some people.

@Grym actually depression can make you get irritable, which can possibly lead to angry outbursts, then violence. I got depression myself, so trust me, I know what depression is like. But ya see, the thing about Chris Brown's depression is that his depression is a part of his bipolar disorder, which involves mania. And with this combination of symptoms of mania and depression, it can make a person hella angry cause of his/her irritability. So yeah, when you got untreated bipolar disorder (which you can clearly see in this video), a lot of people are gonna make assumptions and just say stupid and harsh things, but nobody realized that he (Brown) had his bipolar disorder untreated that whole time until March of 2014, when a rehab facility found out why Brown would often have violent outbursts.

After seeing the documentary, she can def catch these hands

David Kinney there’s two sides of the story. He says in an interview how she was hitting him first while he was driving, over something I don’t remember. Of course he should have handled the situation differently, but if that was the case she also should’ve controlled herself until they got home not while he’s driving in the middle of the road. David Kinney eww u sound stupid

how would you feel if you had someone nagging you about your past on live tv, after you already apologized and moved on from it two years ago? have you ever had a boyfriend try to bring up your past mistakes while hanging out with a group of friends? i believe that if someone has been forgiven about a mistake they made in the past, then let it be just that, forgiven and forgotten...i think his attitude was justified being that she ALREADY did an interview with him regarding that incident before

In retrospect, we all know how he COULDVE handled that situation. He exhibited & displayed a level of restraint and control in spite of his much documented enjoyment & comfortability with venturing into careless impulsivity.... ...with all considered, this was handeled relatively well. What i suspect happened behind the scene was that his publicist didnt provide producers with a list of what he can and cant be asked...nor do i think this interview would have taken place had he done that.....i do, however, think they went into this thinking that Robin made Chris believe she liked him and was on his side & rooting for his success.. .but as soon as the cameras rolled and she put her journalist hat, she simply asked the questions everyone (at that time) prob wanted to know ...eventually insulting Chris, downing his mood & immediately putting him on the defense. Had she waited till the end and closing out with the salaciousness, she prob wuldve faired much, MUCH, better. But she chose not to. OR she sensed the interview was going left from the jump and wuld prob end quickly so instead of being used as JUST a vehicle for increased album sales, perhaps she, as kindly as poss dived instanteneously into the rihannna scandal and whether or not the lifting of the retraining order has led to him and riri crossing paths/bettered their relationship POST beating.

Yeah he's such a hero. He COULDVE handled that by beating another woman. He's such a hero with all his assault claims against him lmao

@@idrinkmilk282 who defended him? And he has only been convicted of assaulting one woman, rihanna. If we were to crucify someone for ther pass doing and allegations, we would leave ppl with no space for growth.

Right after this performance he through a chair through the window of the green room area at this show in Times Square New York causes massive damage to the large expanse expensive window.

Finally, someone who has sense. I totally agree with you man.

She clearly was not interested in his album and just wanted to talk about things that happened years before this interview. I definitely do not condone what he did, but he wasn't there to talk about that, why she would feel the need to make the whole segment about that situation while he's promoting his new album and about to perform is beyond me

It's kinda sad. What he did was wrong, but people seem to forget he's only human. People make mistakes, mistakes they regret and have to live with everyday for the rest of their lives which I'm sure he does and that's a punishment itself but for people to bring it up everyday I can imagine his frustration.

This is the first Chris Brown video I have ever seen Since he became famous

after watching his documentary and hearing his side of this interview really made me made. You could clearly see and tell that he wanted her to stop talking about the situation and she kept going. It’s almost as if she wanted to get some type of negative reaction out of him or something. I’m happy he handled it well but I would’ve broke down backstage too after being questioned nonstop about something you took responsibility for and we’re trying to move on from it

You’re right. After he nearly kills a woman, and then come to find out, several more, a simple “oh. My bad” is obviously more than enough to get people excited about a new album! 👍🏼 Can’t believe we dared to care about drawing attention to an important issue like domestic abuse for once.

​@@GilbertGTV that's not the POINT!!!! Robin could've used this opportunity to make Brown feel like a BETTER person WITHOUT dismissing domestic violence and even his album for the matter.

I bet this was the moment that he somehow proved his change in how he dealin' with an anger.

Chris was looking at Robin like she just damaged one of his lamborghinis lol
