Chow Ga Mantis - Sam Bo Jin (三步箭)

Sam Bo Jin (三步箭) is the first and core form of the system and is a key vehicle in developing the many strengths found in Mantis. The form should be done with high intensity, driving your nervous energy to not just the elbow and arms but the back, the pelvis, legs, neck, everything! It all makes for a very tough introduction to this method of training.
You can find my previous demonstrations of this form below!

You can clearly see you have developed the internal aspect or the "feeling" of the form. your power transmission by the looks of it has greatly increased. Great form! Greetings from Chow Gar Ireland.

Bro, I like the look of chow ga mantis incorporating chi kong into the sam bo jin, which I believe grows as one practices. Also all martial arts should be done that way in order to be effective. There are many similarities with full body wing chun , I see. Proud of you and chow ga mantis, no relation to chow gar.

Consider relaxing your shoulders and allowing them to naturally play into your structure. Sharp "impulse" from the rear leg-foot to initiate a short throw of body weight directly in behind your hands. Relax. It is Whip and Bone Stacking.

In the beginning of the video, I heard you speak and your words seem like rap. Can you do rap with sambojin, proclaiming the secrets of Chow Gar, like "not T not lambda; you don't come, I don't hit; frog style knee; .........". You name it.

Yea sorry, don't think there are any schools out in Holland. But if you make a trip over to the UK you'd find a bunch of schools there! Its formally done with the right foot but the left can & should be practiced as well
