After I'm around some of my family members for a length of time (Toxic environment) I go home and sit in silence, I ask God to give me his PEACE. Then I rest for a while. It's even more glaring when you work in the community, and start to partner/collaborate with other organizations. It's like you're on different radio frequencies, especially when you notice people in cliques and herd mentalities/mindsets. After my ex did what he did to me I hated how loving and caring my heart was. I couldn't understand why someone I showed so much love, peace & light to could do me so dirty. I've never had the heart to do people the way they've done me & never will. Through therapy and getting closer to God I realized He made me this way & that Im not like everybody else. I never thought I was a chosen one until recently. God made my heart the way it is & I need to do better by guarding it from the evil, dark hearted people of this world.

so many things you say are spot on for me. in my teenage years, when I didn't even know what spirituality is, i already started to detach from people intuitively, because i felt like i want to protect me and my energy. and i never had an issue with being alone, but family members always brought that up seeing it as strange 😅 instead, during this "alone" time i always cultivated this love energy in me (that i now know is something special). it's actually fascinating reflecting on my past and understanding what it all meant (that god is strong in me apparently). I constantly hear about blessings that are coming my way but I'm already blessed finally learning and realizing all this 😄
