This is giving me war flashbacks to my marching band years lol. Do NOT underestimate how hard it is to find your spot when you're coming in backwards, sideways, or spinning. One of the hardest things to do, you gotta practice a million times just to make sure you never mess up during performance TT. You can't even look down to check if you're in the right spot because even just tilting your head down to look ruins how in sync everyone looks (that's how high the standard is, we won so many awards because of that mentality).

After The8's hat fell, I can't stop myself staring at him the whole video. The way how smooth he pick up his hat, how fast he wore it back, how he support his hat with his hand the whole video without mistake and how he spin in the last part without falling his hat again. I know it’s been over two years since this era, but I just came to comment that as a new carat who has been binge watching all the contents for a while now, Vernon’s foot work is really insane. Strange that I do not see many people praising him enough for it.

We can now say that Minghao's hat is not glued to his head and him trying not to laugh and smoothly picking it up without messing up the choreo is so iconic. Anyway another masterpiece!

As a dancer myself, i just realized that this choreo almost don't have any "breathing space" (idek if this is the right word or not lol, but dancers will understand). If you guys didn't know about this "Breathing space", it's part of the choreo where they just stay put in formation or doing little/easy movements. The only "breathing space" i notice is at the bridge part where they going to form a line and go to a canon (the the8 and shadows thing) It always amazed me when kpop choreographies are just constant and dynamics🔥

They are great, synchronized and beautiful, but this choreography has something that makes me feel happy and happy, despite the fact that here, in Mexico, things are not going well. The boys said that their goal, when releasing the album was that the people who listened to the songs feel optimistic, and that they take a break because it is valid to do that, to be able to take strength and continue with the things of life, and They got, they made me enjoy their dance and music so much, that they are still in my mind and every time I remember it, I have to smile. it took me halfway through to realize that the reason the formations are like that is to mimic a baseball game, the lines, taking turns in teams... its genius

The fact is SEVENTEEN’s choreography are always masterpiece and even though you are not a carat, you can’t judge their dance, vocal, rap, talent, visual, etc.

PROPS TO WOOZI AS YOUR PRODUCER OF THE YEAR

I know everyone is blown away but as someone who’s taken dance for a handful of years I’m seriously amazed by how beautifully they performed this choreography and the intricacy of it. The formations and the transitions in between are so cool and unique but they manage to keep clean lines throughout the whole performance. Also this choreography has so many dimensions to it. They really played with their dynamics really well. The way they used different levels, groups of members doing different choreo but it doesn’t look messy, free movements and restricted movements, the roll offs, IT’S SO OUTSTANDING I CAN’T EVEN LIST ALL THE DETAILS. THIS IS WHAT THE BEST OF THE BEST BROADWAY PERFORMANCE WOULD LOOK LIKE. (Also The8 so gracefully picked up his dropped hat as if he wasn’t doing anything that wasn’t choreo +10000000000 to moments that prove that Xu Minghao is one of the best dancers Earth has seen

I agree with everything you said, but I am not a dancer. The8 picking his hat was seamless like it was part of the choreography was great to watch. Shows that he is a professional dancer.

@@krysteljadeapostolero2903 yeah SVT never disappoints when it comes to performing. It’s crazy because I’ve been here since Adore U and they keep amazing me over and over again. They try new things and that’s what makes them exciting to stan. Their discography is so diverse, there’s probably a SEVENTEEN song for any mood your in. And they always knock every genre out of the park. I can go on about how amazingly talented they are for hours and it still won’t be long enough to list everything. Above all their bond with each other is the most precious thing ever. I’m glad you decided to stan too

Here, we're not talking about who's the best dancer and do the hardest part of the choreography or do the dance break... They just do those all hard moves.. Even he's not the main dancer, he can do it perfectly like a main dancer! I'm beyond impressed with these guys!

I gotta say... who ever choreographs such artistic yet complicated pieces for this group has to a mastermind. It isn't easy to choreograph something for such a big group. And it's for every performance. Hats off to whoever is working behind the scenes.

Honestly no other choreography videos give as much satisfaction as Seventeen’s do. They just bring it every single time 💛

i hate mnet and their voting system. seventeen deserve the best, people recognize their golden talents. and mama is the biggest kpop end-year awards, they shouldn't pick the winners by the voting system. example : it doesnt make sense at all if another songs except nct kick it or redvelvet pyscho become soty. and it same goes with seventeen, the title 'best dance performance' is theirs and only theirs.

yes, I don't know psycho but Kick it surely is one of the most impactful songs of this year, such a unique sound and choreo. And Svt are really the kings of choreos, they always have a new original concept, their choreos are meaningful, they create them by themselves...maybe they don't win the awards they deserve but they are known for being the elite group for sure, and they won an award for excellence...at this point, I don't care about awards gained by a vote system based on fame

army’s who blink once yes. i think its a bonus if the group got so many views and became million seller etc. it shows how unite the fandom is. but for me, we can tell the song was impactful by seeing how it dominate the world. seeing people from another fandom sing along, seeing them become new fans of the group bcs of the song. cause aju nice and love scenario never get their 1st win and aju nice havent even reached 90m views, but every kpop stan knows and loves the songs until now.

@@firstwz numbers are the most solid proof of its impact the song that won had a huge impact in korea and internationally not just with fans and they also got more and more fans with it just like you said let’s be honest kick it and psycho are really good songs but even though they were impactful they weren’t as impactful as the winner... i hope you see my point lol i do prefer psycho btw. also have a quick question does seventeen have some content like variety shows i could watch, i know this is kinda random but i’ve just learned all their names so i wanna watch some content
