R2d2 from Star Trek I’m still confused, is it the guitar community that needs recognized? Or that needs to do the recognizing of these videos? Cuz either way, I REMEMBER YOU FROM A JACKSFILMS VIDEO.

The Chord Progression from Hallelujah still gets me everytime. Although I was wondering if you could probably make this into a series, like chord progressions that will get you happy, or even discussing abnormal chord progressions! Great work here!
I love what you've built here on youtube. I've been playing for years and years and wouldn't have come as far with my playing without these videos. Whether it's getting frustrated trying to find chord combinations or whatever. You're a great guitar teacher not just for a those who recently picked up the guitar but also for anyone who has felt the joy of coming back to even the simplest things you thought you already knew and understanding them in a different way. You shed a lot of light on this instrument and you really love music and it shows! Plus you make me laugh till it hurts sometimes. Thank you and we all appreciate what you do! Much love! - Jason from San Antonio, Texas

I love this lesson for your thoroughness and pace. I've been a vocalist most of my life and now also working on bass and pedal steel. Your information helps me with developing music theory and inspiring me to learn improvisation. Again thank you ❤
The chord progression is very melodically emotional and beautiful but I feel like crying by seeing your studio, equipments and setup and looking at myself. Man, what else a musician want ? And those pictures on the wall looks so perfect. I mean all the work is nicely done. I nearly watched like 10 times from 0:01 to 0:45.❤️
MIW : Play beautiful sounding chord and makes people cry Me : Well, the finger wrecking jazz chords hurt my finger and makes me cry. How bout that!
Love the new space! Thanks!
Very good lesson! One of the few videos I’ve found on KZread dealing with chord progressions that I can actually follow and keep up with/ understand. Thank you for this! Time to go put some teardrops on my guitar 🥺
I was painting a clients kitchen and he hops on his concert grand piano and started playing. I wept like a little baby, I was trying to hide but at the same time I wanted more. It was so deeply healing to my soul. Neal Schon of Journey has some of those qualities to his guitar. The solo on Winds of March just after the B-3 solo is amazing! Thanks for showing this aspect of music, beautiful!
bro you have great content i love each video keep it up!
Saw this pop up in my recommend, grabbed my guitar, and said here we go and hit play then you snapped and said there we go and just woah man. Tyler out here breaking the 4th wall.
Love the new space man, looks super clean and well treated with sound treatment!
I like that you moved your old studio over and repurposed it! Love that room! 🤘

@@ianmiller4195 they're probably similar in way but the explanation is some complex theory i don't understand
@ianmiller4195
5 жыл бұрын
@@ellistheshredlord8077 the explanation is in roman numerals, with 1 being the root of the key. If we use a G major scale then G is 1, Am is 2, Bm is 3, etc. If the letters ar capitalized then it's a major chord and lower case is minor.
really loved this vid... ive been playing for a year, so i might try this out
i love the innovations you do with this channel.
That may be the best sounding acoustic I have ever heard.
Hi @MusicIsWin i wonder if you will can make another video about Dual guitars solos for metal / heavy metal please. Thank you so much! ^_^
Thnx Tyler, another gr8 vid!
Love your vids man!
You are awesome and so is your content evrytime..
Fantastic room you are a lucky guy, i'd love a room like that just to play and chill, great video as per usual .
The purple studio is dope bro.. It looks so chill, i can only imagine how awesome the sound will be...
Dude I really like the space you’ve made! Quite sick
You´re very full of yourself because you should be. Your videos are always a lot of fun and you're good!
I've always been a 'cover' guy (heck, gigged so not all bad) but did write a couple of tunes. last after my Mom passed away in '96. Never put lyrics or a melody to it. Just happy i remember this. btw, mournful.
I love your new studio :D
Duuuude your set-up is so beautiful 😭😭😭
10 seconds in im bawling my eyes out, thinking of the good ol days of when she was around.
Studio looks great.
I can imagine this playing on the beach, a summer evening while watching the sun set just after finishing a tv-series
Yes, it sure makes me cry!
C,C/B,Am,Am/G is one of my current favorites(Like from the chorus of Have you ever seen the rain)
Progressions that pump you up
Man I love this melody. Do you have tabs/chords available outside of Guitar Super System for this?
Beautiful chord progression. The sound garden
Awesome. More interesting chord videos.
I just found this channel but damn I love how u play and ur content of the videos. I really want to learn myself
Great chord progression and an interesting lesson. I'm always on the lookout for interseting sonic tones that are a departure from the basic major / minor chords, I find them but my theory is a bit weak but I can work it out or cheat by looking what the chord I'm playing on the internet using a chord finder ;-).
Ahhhhh the Couch of Tranquility in Tyler's Atelier.
Your first D minor chord made me think of the intro to What It's Like by Everlast.
Great lesson Master...try playing with nylon strings...are unique for suspenden chords...

Hey I live in North Carolina huge fan of classic rock and Country I wish I could find out what part of NC your from?
I love both studios I feel like this could be your normal one and the other could be for videos when you're moving around a lot
That is a beautiful guitar.
I cry on those deep, deep chords!
Could you make a video on your best chord progression and possibly a happy/upbeat chord progression
The B minor chord you played is what I’ve seen called a G/B. Just a G with a B root. One of my favorite transition chords along with E/G# or even D/F#
The win den, call it that :)
I think the new room would look nice with like a tv somewhere with like a fire kinda thing on it. Or a fireplace, except for the heat from it. But i think a nice fire set a soothing tone to any room
For the name of the room, I am going with the obvious; The Purple Haze. Less obvious, The Grapes of Tone. 😶🤦🏽♂️
This is my dream home
Acoustic guitar is so pretty, I love it so much
The one that made me cry is Giant Steps. I just wanted to improvise at a single chord...
Wish you were here is amazing

geez almost cried just in the opening

Please describe the chord prog you played with Paul Reed Smith. That was unique.
How can we make progressions richer? Is there a known list or guideline for that? (Have all the supersystems, I am slowly progressing on them so you can give reference if there is). Cheers!

what color is that on the walls? looks grey on camera i dig it and would like to use it myself
Good idea to call the room Purple Recording Studio (PRS).
WOW MUCH EMOTION. VERY SAD
You’re not crying, I am!

Nice work But could learn nothing, because of that beautiful intro..that is heart and soul right there. Simplicity is so underrated. I can hear some Satriani influence there:)
