Chorabari lake,Kedarnath. September,2007
Located at a distance of around 3 kms from the Kedarnath Temple in Uttarakhand, Chorabari Lake is a quaint lake which also goes by the name of Gandhi Tal. The crystal clear gorgeous lake draws a lot of tourists from far and wide besides the regular devotees. Tucked cosily in the backdrop of the mighty Himalayas, the lake is perched at a towering altitude of 3900 m above the sea level. Chorabari Tal originates from the Chorabari Bamak Glacier and can be reached through a short trek from the Kedarnath Temple.
As per historical records, in 1948, the ashes of Mahatma Gandhi were also immersed in the lake. In addition to that, it is also believed that the revered Hindu God - Lord Shiva used to impart sermons of yoga to the Saptarishis at the spot. Hence, making it is a holy destination besides an important historic one. Another popular attraction near the lake is the Bhairava Temple. Chorabari Tal is one of the most popular picnic spots in the region and is also blessed with enormous scenic panoramic views of the landscape.

Ye aapda/disaster jo atikraman ho rakha tha temple ke aas pass usko hatane ke liye aaya tha, 2 feet ki bhi jagah nahi hai temple ke baaju mein..
Pahle aur bhi sunder tha abhi aapda k bad bahut kuchh lhatam ho gaya hai lagta hai maine bahut se vedio dekhe lekin aapki vedio jitni koi bhi achchi nahi. Tab cameras ki quality utni achchi nahi hoti thi phir bhi dikh raha kitna sunder tha

Abhi pura swarg lag rha hai pehle se, kyun ki ye business ki kaaran sab Ghar dukaane mandir ka khubsurti kam kardiye the, abhi piiche kuch nhi hai isiliye aur v jyada khubsurat lgrha hai , just abhi Jaa k aaya hun 15din pehle
