CHOPPED Y62 PATROL CANOPY BUILD! Graham's one-of-a-kind DREAM 4WD!

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

It's HERE... and Graham's finally seeing his FINISHED chopped Y62 Patrol after all the hard work Reuben and the team at DMW put in! They've even fabricated a sick rear diff protector and slimline sliders to protect Graham's rig! MITS Alloy wasted no time installing their EVO 2 alloy tray & canopy setup - then it was on to the TJM bull bar, Uniden UHF, custom seat covers, a Torqit performance exhaust and of course - a TOUGH set of Custom Off-Road Bash Plates underneath.

Agreed. Was an immediate eye sore in the mits alloy section of video. Too tall and certainly too wide where the patrol starts to taper in. Roof rack made it bit better but it's still terrible. Great canopy, just a shame it doesn't suit the vehicle.

Nice rig graham. The lads at dmw really appear to go the extra mile on the finishing touches, the quality of their work really shines through. Your 1st trip obviously has to be fairly local just in case but you should do a solo coast to coast run on your ecomuse channel once youve got the y62 decked out & dialled in. Keen to see this weapon on future videos with shaunos 200. On a side note, how is the rebuild of shorty going? Havent seen anything on that build for a couple of years now.

What would I do first, getting that awning on is pretty much all I would do to it. Doesn't look like anything else needs doing, maybe some tint on the windows. The only thing I picked up on was the cover for the rear drawer could be one that when you removed it you can hitch it over the drawer and use it as an extra bench for tools. Otherwise, its good to go. When I win the lotto guys, I am next in line to do this same build.

I also remember graham saying he preferred diesels cause its almost impossible to ignite it without trying, unlike having jerry cans of petrol in the back.

Love the set up! Only thing wouldn’t you want the canopy to be the same height as your roof rack? Looks a little odd being different heights/ less useable space

I’d start with snorkel, air box and supercharger if you’re planning to tow. You’ll love the extra torque and may have a chance keeping up with the big 200.

I think it would be an awesome build in the USA. Not sure how well it would go fuel wise loaded up for the Kimberly trip or towing a big van.

Holy Cow Graham, as you said it, it is an absolute weapon, Independent suspension at the back is novel but no doubt it is heavy duty, it does help to put the rear diff at a bit higher clearance, thats awesome, DMW cage for rear diff is awesome too!!

I have been eagerly awaiting this. Looks amazing!! I am US based and have the Infiniti equivalent QX80. I’d love to get this done here. Batwing style canopy and a kitchen setup will be great next steps. These beast drink fuel, you will certainly need extra tanks.
