As someone who learned this song, getting the melody in the doppio movimento to stand out as much as it does is way more difficult than people appreciate. Brilliantly played.

Are you still drunk
The first movement is meant to make the listener understand the melody and to follow it when eventually the Doppio Movimento comes, as it's a bit complex for the unexperienced ear and some important bits might be harder to catch and understand, the second movement delicate and slow, slowly builds up both in speed and volume, and is a great prelude to the 3rd movement which Chopin left for last intentionally as a desert, but instead of being sweet, it's a true soul crasher and makes you relive sad memories you though you removed long time ago.
Grandioso !!

4:16 is great, definitely... but for me the most goosebumpy moment is that gorgeous chord at 5:30. When I listened to it for the first time, I expected a different resolution, and I went like „boaaaaahhh“. I still feel like that after about 1000 times of listening. My favorite nocturne. And yes, I also do this vibrato thing sometimes, for maximum expression, and then I realize it’s not my cello ... haha Well, with Chopin, weird things happen.

I can never get enough Chopin. Thank you Traum!
What is so surprising is that you followed the rules of finger numbers correctly (ex, first and second right hand sounds are played by finger number 3), which means you deeply respect Chopin and this piece.

Honestly I know it's the doppio but I think it sounds too rushed so I like to play it at a slower pace. My favorite interpretation of that part is Rubenstein's and he slows it down a lot compared to other pianists. Makes it much easier to play too :)

Thank you soooooo much my friend!!! I asked soooooo many times!!! My absolutely favorite nocturne!!!!😘😘😘❤❤❤❤
This is very well played!!! I have heard many interpretations of this piece but most times it is played too fast und many passages are played exaggeratedly loud, so that the,, main climax " looses its effect. But you keep the tension till the end so that it is overwhelming (beautiful) for the listener.
Great performance! I can see your effort, you love the piano.
