Watching from Mallorca with envy as Tattinette brings the Coleman’s in the food parcel . Just spent this afternoon searching around the island in in vain for some, as our supply had gone ! What a star she is 🌟

A true mother and auntie, she brought goodies from afar. The smiles on their faces all the time and such chill attitudes, they exude happiness, contentment, and love.

Lalande needs to do renovations again. All of these small rooms need renovation and it would be really interesting to watch.

After the B&B season is over for the year, we will see the Grand Salon ceiling down, and the hallway upstairs torn up. When they add the two baths to the B&B rooms, they can show us if they finished the Bamboo room with the 1900s era look, new wall and shower room. B&B goes first. ❤

Marie picked the room Stephanie said. They are picking wallpaper for all the staff rooms, it appears. Philip mentioned one of the rooms by name. I think it is the large one with the view of the chapel. The Park room. ❤ I am counting Windows to see if I can get a better idea from the staff room tour from years ago.❤

I know these daily videos are hard to make but I really love seeing the day to day running of the chateau. It gives such a human face to the goings on. Keep it up if you can!

Stephanie stated once that it is one of Philip's jobs. He does historical research on the interior and exterior of Lalande. He designed the crown molding for the Marquis's sitting room. He finds furniture, mirrors, lamps and wallpaper for Stephanie's final approval. He has written up the placement of the paneling in the Grand Salon, so I would call that being an interior designer or decorator. ❤

Everday buzzing activity, whether you're all working, cooking, cleaning, laundries😍 lovely chatters, playing but most of all funtastic time together and laughing with one another. The massage area needs to have some portable screens or drapes to be hung on some apparatus to offer a more soothing atmosphere. When done, the screens/drapes could be taken down when not in use. Also, a nice yet portable table where insense could be placed as well as a device that could play some calming music. Atmosphere is all part of the massage experience.

Steve is the artist that is working on creating Stephanie's father's Medieval tiles that he left drawings of. He created the logo they use. Steve can scan in the wallpaper pieces and put the pattern back together. ❤

The attic bedroom, shown near the end, had a stunning bed headboard. I like the green wall paint. I would enjoy spending more time in that room as I only briefly saw most items. Thank you.

I think this room is not in the attic, but is down the little hall from Steph's room, and is on the other side of her bathroom from her room. Gerry stayed in there before, and I think it used to be Philip's old room. It has those unique door frames.

Friends and family have taken over Philip's room. ❤ As long as the Hedgehog is happy. Stephanie wanted to take down the wall in her study and move her walk-in closet into Philip's bathroom and share a bathroom between the two rooms, but they need two more bedrooms and bathrooms for Christmas. Untill the two B&B rooms are replaced they are short bedrooms. ❤

7:30 Why is Maria staying in a ole literal maids quarters! 😂. JK! But what a fun room that would be to decorate. Can’t wait! I’m loving that top green blue peacock wallpaper! 😍

Amaury lets his dad help him with the walls in the carriage room where the new boilers are, so perhaps we will see them do a day in there or the workshop. Stephanie's aunt said they were looking for a property near by. ❤

Philip's space is now Aunt and Uncle's bedroom. Stephanie wants to tear down the wall in her study, move her walk-in closet into Philip's bathroom, but they need two more bedrooms with a shower or bathroom competed for family and staff. Even Nick's family space needs a make over. ❤

I can’t comment on the decor because we have very different tastes and styles so I’ll just say that I’m very happy that another room with be getting properly finished - yeah!!! I’m also happy Marie is back, she adds such welcomed lightness. She’s a pleasure! Lastly, the massage therapist is a brilliant idea. I hope he stays on for a good long while. That’s a service I’m sure every guest will gladly pay extra for; especially if you are able to rent him dedicated space, perhaps one that opens out into the garden so during warm weather the guests can enjoy relaxing services outside in a private niche somewhere.

What an amazing thing to have so many beautiful layers of history in your home! I absolutely love this kind of detective work, it's like time travel. My favorite tv show was "If Walls Could Talk" and was amazing, although in the United States of America, it was not nearly as deep a pool of history to gaze into. I can hardly wait for the new antique wallpaper.

So exciting seeing the old wallpapers in that bedroom, and that there’s just enough exposed to be able to recreate the whole pattern of both the wallpaper and the wallpaper border! I hope Steve may also recreate the wallpapers in the unfinished part of the attic, I love them so.
