CHOOSING A SIGHT FOR BOWHUNTING - HOW TO PICK A SIGHT FOR HUNTING
How to choose a sight for bowhunting, there are so many options out there for different sights! Its for good reason though! Because there are so many situations in the woods where one sight could be better than another. Its important to take into consideration what youre going to be doing for the most part with your bow setup.
No need to stress out about which bow sight to buy, I did the dirty work and decided to buy them all for you so you can see how they perform against eachother and what you should look for when picking one off the shelf.
Use this info to help give you a better idea on what sight to shoot. It doesn't matter which one you shoot, as long as it works for you thats the most important part about it!
Go support my Merch store to help me continue to do this full time and get as much information out to you as possible!!

I hunt out west and started with a 5 pin slider. Totally dug having 5 fixed pins and not having to dial unless it was farther then 60. But quickly realized after a year in the field that 5 pins is way to crowded in crunch time. It's like you forget what your pins are and takes longer having to count pins. I switched the following year to a 3 pin and went 30, 40, 50 never looked back. It's only 3-4 inches high at 20 and very easy to see not so cluttered. That's what I will continue to use for hunting. Thanks for the video! Love the content

For hunting yes, for TAC, you want to be able to dial out to 100yds. I love my CBE engage hybrid 3 pin for hunting but for TAC events you're constantly dialing. I have a single pin for that stuff. I don't even try a shot over 80 yards for hunting but that angled slider on the Dialed is a godsend for 80+ shots. You'll see a ton of those at TAC events.

My hunting bow is dialed as a 3 pin to 120...with room to spair. Not saying I shoot that far for hunting but a second arrow for sure

I don't think anyone has done a review comparison of every popular sight on the market. Very cool, and expensive

Stupid expensive😂 but needed haha
Great review! Looking forward to each individual sight review!! 🔥👍
Coming from Spot Hogg Cam Hanes edition "7 deadly pins" Moved to Spot Hogg PM inline sight two dot on my Hoyt VTM 34 and I love the simplicity and tuning 🤘
Thanks for the great video. Wishing you well on the channel from New Zealand. Be interested in your thoughts or future review on the EZ-V bow sight.
Great video! I have the HHA tetra picattiny site on my Hoyt vtm. I love it!
Just ordered a flag, love the reason your doing it!

Heck yeah!! Thank you for the support!!
Long comment coming. I started with the redline single pin on my ventum pro. Didn’t like having to move it every time, special since I live in Michigan hunting whitetail and things happen quick in a tree stand. I Switched to acxel landslyde with a UVXL 3 pin. The horizontal 3 pins were driving my eyes nuts with how close the pins are together with these faster bows. Now I have a UVXL 2 pin vertical on it and love it. Trail and error but we found what works best for me. Keep up the videos I have 3 young boys just getting into archery. 2, 4, & 7. we enjoy your content.

How do you like the hoyt ventum pro. I was thinking of buying one. I shoot a Mathews V3X 29 and love it. But always wanted to try hoyt.

@@wcwcgarner2717 I actually sold the Ventum Pro about 2 months go. I just picked up a lift 29.5. My personal opinion the Hoyt had a very smooth drawl cycle and definitely didn’t not feel like it was 70lbs when pulling. But obviously the lift is going to be a little move aggressive being it’s more of a speed bow.
Great video, I had to look up my sight which is the trophy ridge fix 5 pin. I've shot out to 70 yards with it and still have room to reach out there. but I'm into the neighbors yard then.
I have enjoyed my Spot Hogg triple stack slider a ton
80% of game across the board are shot with a bow from 20-60 yards so a 3 pin is perfect. We can't use the Garmin here in CO (not sure about WY but don't care since I don't need one) but it makes no sense.. It's fun to practice with and can actually help with self-ranging when you don't have it on the bow.
I like the Black gold 5 pin myself, it's a slider and the sight tape is on the inside. So in my opinion it's less movement if needed for longer range.
Hi there, I think this had a lot of potential, since you had all the sights at hand... Only on my opinion the speed you took for the reviewing all the sights I didn't feel I could get too much out of any sights.. That said, I have seen you making much better reviews👍
Love your videos man, I’m deciding right now between the hha, landslyde, and the cbe engage or trek pro micro 3v. Could really use your help on this I’m losing sleep 😂

I just set up my new bow with a 3 pin CBE engage hybrid. So far I really like it and it is built bomb proof. You won’t be disappointed if you choose it

@@ZGADOW see I keep leaning towards the cbe but I haven’t seen many people running them and have been real curious on why. Every video I’ve seen on them say they’re built like tanks. Have you looked at the trek pro micro 3v?
Thanks for info
Just some info on that digital trophy ridge sight...you can buy the updated spot hogg scope from Lancaster and you can mount it straight on that sight, replacing the trophy ridge one. If you have the older scopes with the bar you can buy the kit from trophy ridge for $29 to mount it. I don't really like the trophy ridge scopes, but I love their sights and technology.

This also works on the non digital versions of the pro sights.. I've got the digital and the old pros and put spot hoggs on all of them!

I have the Trophy Ridge V5 React vertical 5 pin sight. It works really well for 3D, but I had a hard time shooting dots on a target

What CBE sight is that you got there? Did you happened to do a review on it?
Really want to get a single pin to use outdoors 3d or hunting
Wow that a lot to spend on bow sights 😮

In Ireland it’s illegal to hunt any deer 😊 so it’s just target shooting at archery clubs 😊
