In this video, Brandon and I have randomized our starters to legendary Pokemon. We will take turns choosing one to add to our team for a battle. BUT, whatever Pokemon we choose, their ability and moves must start with the same letter as the Pokemon's name. Once we have 6 Pokemon each, we battle!

Fun fact: Dark Void was locked to Darkrai and reduced to 50% accuracy after the 2016 VGC World’s due to Smergle Sketching the move and destroying the pokemon meta

They should’ve only made it so Darkrai could use it. The accuracy drop was just lame when it wasn’t even Darkrai that was the problem.
Dark void is indeed locked to darkrai because it was too broken on smeargle in vgc 2016

They should’ve just made it so only Darkrai could use it and not dropped the accuracy. Darkrai literally got it’s signature move nerfed when it was Smeargle that was the problem.

Brandon could have selected Any Future Paradox pokemon, As they strat with I and Imposter changes his problem for moves, and Choice scarf him, Could be best

Iron Leaves Ability: Intrepid Sword - Iron Head - Ice Hammer - Ice Shard - Ivy Cudgel It's not the greatest but I abulitys lead to ice scales and also intimidate

Like dark void can't be used by anyone else except Darkrai; Hyperspace hole can't be used by anyone except hoopa, that's because it's an integral part of animation
I really think you should also make the held item also have to match the letter, too.

Special mons absolutely do not special version of huge power considering how much physical attackers get shafted compared to them. Burn, intimidate, every thing that affects contact. Special mons do not have any of this problem. Don't say Blissey because you still have Psyshock for that.

Shiny pokemon are cool and all, but when you have a low battle timer, they kind of meh. The extra few seconds it takes due to the sparkle animation really eats the clock up.

We discussed that (and cut it out of the video), but because we didn’t use “O” for Origina Palkia or Origin Giratina, we used N for Necrozma since it was the base Pokemon 🙂
