In todays episode of High Gain Cook Duel we compare these three beautiful amplifiers by Fortin. Made in Canada and UK and absolutely tasty! The Fortin Evil Pumpkin is their newest brutal high gain amp. The Fortin Sigil is the smallest one with a 20 Watt 6V6 power amp! For a more British flavor we also got the Fortin Cali, which is basically a fully Jose modded Marshall amplifier! Tell me in the comment section which one you'd choose for your next record or gig!

Liked the evil pumpkin the best here. The sigil and Cali sounded almost like the input was too hot. Reminiscent of running a boost at full level.

@@MaxPowersTastyTones Cali seemed fuller and punchier in the palm mutes? The mids just had a really nice grind as well.
I absolutely love the Cali Neural DSP plugin, one of my go to for great versatility...You think they should do the Evil Pumpkin as a plugin, or would that be overkill between the Cali and the Nameless plugin?

I am biased but the Cali is just perfect to me and sits on the throne. All sound great though and can’t see anyone having a problem with either really.

Yes I was lucky enough to grab a Blackout Cali. It is going to the grave with me man. Such a versatile and ferocious amp.
I liked the Fortin the best.
