Tan looks more independent with his butler rather than his older siblings when their butler is gone

🤣 I can't believe that Tan is the most independent among the three. I hope Milky and GB will cope better gradually when butler is gone for errands.

Separation anxiety is definitely the worst part about training a Samoyed. It's never too late, bros, keep on going and eventually Milky will get used to it. It took some time with mine (about 3 months of constant 45-minute outings while leaving the dog alone at home), but every dog is different.

Why is milky sounding like a cat? Haha 😆 Maybe the influence of living with two cats hits him hard 😆

I think GB and Milky miss small bro very much when he goes out. But one thing I have noticed GB didn't cry while Milky was at home.

Since Milky almost always waits to be told to eat, possibly leave the dog treat where he waited by the door & say "Eat" (maybe twice) just as you are leaving. This gives him the "permission" to eat the treat, while he keeps vigil on the door awaiting your return. Then if this works, you can start leaving the treat a bit further away from the door, a bit further away,.... until he is eventually back by the cat tower. Small steps. You Butlers are wonderful for caring so much to notice each pets' personality, and for taking steps to help ease their worry. ❤

My dog does the same, I give treat and leave and ignores the treat and flops down depressed. I even have the furbo and he just looks at the treats and ignores it. Only when he hears the garage door open when I come home he rushes to eat the treats and eagerly waits for me to arrive…. It used to be ally worksheet though…he used to howl and cry for at least an hour or however long I was away…

I'm happy that this time GB is no longer crying when the butlers aren't present in the house. I hope Milky will soon be like GB.❤️

That's because Milky is there. I've observed that the only times GB cried was when the butlers take Milky out. If you look into the older videos (pre-tan) there were several instances where the butlers left GB and Milky at home. Both of them seemed content in playing and teasing each other with milky howling occasionally. I'm starting to think that it's milky that gb is crying for and not the butlers.

I noticed that GB is not as anxious when the bro leaves when Milky is around...

You should get a screen that you can place on the wall and attaches to your phone so you can see and talk to the kiddos when you're away. If they hear your voice or see you on the screen they won't be so sad. They'll feel more secure knowing you're ok. ❤

I didn't know Polar Bear had separation anxiety, i cave in to that but we do have to go out sometimes eh. The Baby of the house is the most chillaxed lol'z, goodonya Tana. 🐱

Even if milky's big already, he is still a baby at heart. It breaks my heart when i see milky, gb or tan cry when big or small bro left them alone. I always pray not only for milkybokitan but also for small ang big bros. The three babies need big and small bros. Their world revolve around them amd they rely to them so much 💕

It looks like Milky thought this was a game. You give him treat, then leave and now Milky thinks its a trick, and he is not supposed to eat the treat while you are gone. So he comes back to the door and sits down very nicely, then waits for you to come in and give him the command to eat his snacks! And he goes back, checks the treat and comes back to wait and when you come back, hes like "See, i havent touched it!" Im confident you will be able to train Milky to be more independent. GB seems to be fine when Milky is at home, so maybe he only misses his polarbear fren? =) Happy new year from Finland!

I watch a lot of dog training/pet/vet videos on YT, to help with separation anxiety -30 minutes before going out completely ignore him (no petting, no talking) - put his treats in a snuff mat/ ball so he has to try to find and gets his food out - even if you are not going out act like you are, put on your coat, grab your keys etc everything you would do when you go out, let him see you do that, it lets the dog know that it’s not “special” and boring
