Choo Choooo Great time at Whistlestop Valley (Was Kirklees light Railway)

I did my best “Fat Controller” (from Thomas the Tank engine) impersonation on Daddy Daughter Day this week at Whistlestop Valley (Was Kirklees Light Railway) based in a beautiful area between Huddersfield and Barnsley. With 2 trains to go on, 2 play parks and 2 cafes there’s something for everyone here in South West Yorkshire, if going on the light railway isn’t your thing then I can highly recommend Cannon a hall Farm, just a short drive from here.
It was only £7.95 for me and Alice being under 2 she was free.
We had a great time and Alice loved the scenic train journey to Shelley Station.

My daughter has just got into trains she’s 2 and a half , she would love this , I take it you would recommend this
