The Lynch's from Macroom took a massive risk giving up regular dairy farming, to go to Italy and bring back Buffalo in the hope of setting up a cheese making business.
The risk paid off!
Macroom Buffalo Mozzarella is a healthy option for cheese lovers, and can be taken as part of a Mediterranean Diet.

How can you controll these buffalos without rob in their nose for a walk and riding. I'm interesting to have some in my country but most of the buffalos are with rob in his nose and I believe that will hurts them.

Here in South Asian, the water buffaloes are considered unpredictable and aggressive. So, they always have a rope running through their nose to restrain them easily should they become aggressive. Wonder what your experience has been rearing them all these years.

Quite friendly animal, Unless you came across Indian Murrah Water Buffalo. I had a very bad experience with them.....
The best buffalo in the world is Italian and Iraqi
