Anyone else searching the crowd for someone holding a boombox over their head?
I liked it except the response part of the chorus is done in "tea for two" type timing. The response should not wait their turn to sing as a response, but jump on top of the ending of the first voices. with the propulsion of soul/African music. Listen to how Peter delivers it when he sings this piece. That part has got to soar, not wait for it's turn to sing. The ending of "your eyes" should still be heard while the response begins "a thousand churches", etc.

The crowd learns and practices the song for about 60-90 minutes. Then a few takes for the recording. Untrained singers in a 'hit and miss' choir don't provide for many nuances or much soaring.
This was not as good as the solo version. Looks like fun though.
