cool strat. chogath is such a weird character. it feels like a bunch of random abilities slapped onto a monster model. but he was literally the first character I ever played and he has basically never changed. wild.

There is something you missed about ability max order , he not just maxing Q W E , he's doing : 3 point in Q > 3 point in W OR 3 point in W > 3 point in Q when he is like mid like vs Yasuo / Katarina and then 1 point in Q and W each until lvl 5 so : 3 Q > 3 W > 1 Q > 1 W > 1 Q > 1 W > finishing max E Also about R on minion , he does it , but only when he has to reset , so the time he don't fight he is in base etc , his ulti is on CD ; On cho'gath if you have your ult and you have to reset , you must use it just before when you are crashing the wave , it's useless to hold your ult when you are in base , unless you TP and you plan to use it , then here hold it

As someone who used to play mid AP Chogath like 2 seasons ago, another reason besides saving your ult for combos is that while you do get HP from stacks, the increase in size and thus hitbox is not worth it. You must remember that you're a burst/control mage instead of a tank. Honestly, you could even consider using your ult early on in your combo as to not get too many stacks too.

Such advanced combos. For the harder ones you cant even be doing a line of coke of the keyboard and get them right

Should be noted he almost only upgrades Q until it one-shots casters, then immediate transition to W max.

I also use Cho Gath on both but supp hitting ccs and damaging with scorch is a no brainer and the true damage r functions as a pyke ult or burst down for enemy adc

Chogaths rupture actually hits pretty fast if you dont see him casting it. Even if yoy react ezreal would take the hit as he teleports because of his E buffering

No, TotSS is actually saying useful stuff. No offense to HappyChimeNoises, I've watched every single video of his and will continue to do so. But a lot of the info in every video is fluff or bullshit, just to fill in space (not what the highlighted player has told him, but what he interprets or try to elaborate on).

I can't believe there was no Cho players like him before on Korean server. This strat alive for years already :/ Cool vid anyways!

Things like these seems so simple yet if I try it I get poked by some caitlin with lulu/morgana/xerath and I just feel like there is nothing I can do to avoid being poked. If I hide and all in, they can just back/kite away. Also I have no idea how are you supposed to keep up with farm. Challengers know their stuff, but if my opponent is not dumb, I think this is just impossible to pull of if you play passive and outfarm cho.

you can pick broken champs in almost any role really, 6 second cd on q is just too strong imo. you can't punish his mistakes when he has that. he also outscales. not a good champ design. remember nautilus mid was popular in china a few years ago, and i suspect you could pick champs like braum and play them very successsfully in different roles

I said in an aram last night that ADCs need a buff, and this is a perfect example of why. I played only two games I was a sivir and I had a Caitlyn in the other game. We had a better comp but cait barley did any damage despite being able to auto attack all game. The player bad good positioning and did well, she just couldn't kill anything and me on sivir was the same situation, I basically was useful because of my ult speeding everyone up, until I got 4 items it felt like I couldn't kill anything or wasn't doing enough damage for it to matter in a team fight. I had 280AD at one point and the enemy garen has maybe 200 armor and I wasn't doing enough damage to kill him or anyone else before they could kill me, besides their mages of course.

@@TodayOnTheSuperServer Yeah mid and bot I normally max w first since I normally only use it when I go all in and at that point my opponent thinks I don’t have much damage so the max w + electrocute catches them off guard. Supp I always max q so the most of my damage is at the start of the engage so I don’t accidentally kill steal, also with maxing q I feel like my adc has more wiggle room to decide whether they’re ready to go in. Wish I could get jg to work better but it always feels awkward plus there’s better jg champs.

I dont buy not finishing with R part Why not wai this one extra AA and then R? No reason

​​@@pappmaulhobbit2823 Not quite, they just do it situationally. Ideally you should be getting the most out of your Cho'gath R by executing enemies with it. Since Darius' R can still be reset if used moments before a kill, it can be used when the enemy's HP bar is just over the execution limit (though Darius doesn't really have one) to maximize the damage output and still get your R back. Darius mains do it frequently because they know when to ult efficiently, but this is not applicable for Cho'gath. All and all it's all about the situation, but you should always try to go for a champion stack whenever you can when playing Cho'gath.

CC supports. Nautilus and Blitz crank are ideal. From my observations he gets fed easily with those supports.
