they're not supposed to be eaten ;). he shows them in his academy and I think he said that once they are breaking the chocolate is melted again..

I live in Phoenix and there are countless variations of the bird all over the city, but I’ve never seen one this awesome! Wish it was our official version! It’s absolutely stunning and beautiful.

This phoenix is beautiful. It looks like the famous Fawkes from Harry Potter. A wonderful masterpiece of chocolate and magic.

When I was less burdened with schoolwork(aka never, actually, but who cares?) I used to bake a batch of cookies every few weekends. One time I was out of baking powder, and, naturally, Sugar Sunday couldn't be postponed. So I figured, what the heck, let's try chocolate. Just a simple baker's dozen homemade Reeses cups. I remember mixing in green tea powder into white chocolate as a coloring substitute, using that to draw on the finished treats, the whole silly-but-absolutely-worth-it process. Your straightforward joy whenever you work reminds me of that. You're awesome!

Phoenixes are my favorite. I love the story behind them. it’s like no matter what life throws at you you can always rise from the ashes. It’s got me through a lot of depression throughout my life because no matter how bad it got I can still rise from the ashes and continue on with life. One day I intend to get a tattoo of a phoenix but it’s never been in my budget too many bills. You definitely made the phoenix beautiful. I say you did the magnificent bird justice. ❤
