I made this recipe last night- I have been so excited waiting to make it and I finally did! It was delicious!!! Thankyou Donal for sharing your inspiration with the world...... As you can see I've been inspired!!!

A stout is the type of beer Guinness is.

Made this yesterday afternoon and frosted it after supper. It came out unbelievably delicious. And the frosting was fantastic! This one's become an official St. Paddy's Day tradition in our home.

The best Chocolate Guinness Cake ever! I tried i this year. That frosting rocks! Absolutely Epic indeed!

When I lived in Germany my host dad was Irish and he made the Nigella version of this cake all the time. So good!

Mixing bailey's with that sweet cream frosting is divine!! Last year, my sister and I made Irish Car Bomb cupcakes with the same chocolate cake, Jameson chocolate ganache, and a bailey's sweet cream frosting. So good!!

Anything tastes better when you add Guinness into it! If anyone has ever visited the factory in Ireland and eaten at their cafe, you know what I am talking about. Donal, this should be on their menu! This is too good for just one day out of the year! Easter, spring,birthday, etc, this will be sure to bring good luck don't you think?!

I made this Guinness chocolate cake and it was so easy! The only change I'd make next time is maybe grating some semisweet chocolate into the batter before baking, just to bring it over the top. Otherwise, I love it and I'm thrilled with the results. Thank you!

Oh wow, I made this one last weekend and it was a 10/10. Indeed a great recipe. I can't find sour cream here so I substituted with regular yogurt. Don't know if it tastes better with the sour cream, but with the substitution is was really good!

I love how you get so excited tasting your own creation in every video. Makes me feel like eating them. But how?!

Check to make sure it’s white chocolate and not just white baking bits (or bar) which has no chocolate in it.

I'm a bit late, sure, but I came across this recipe and I'm ready and excited to give it a try! :D

The cake's now in my oven and i'm going to prepare the frosting. One thing I must say - nothing on this world smells better than melted butter with cocoa and Guiness. I was standind above the saucepan and smelling it for like 15min. IT SMELLS LIKE HEAVEN. And now that the cake's baking my whole house smells like that. I'm goling to do this cake every single day just for its smell. THANK YOU for the recipe. :)

Donal Skehan well, yesterday my family ate everything to the very last crumb, so today (since i'm going away with my friends for the weekend) I made another, bigger one with extra amount of frosting. It's probably the 10th recipe of yours that I tried and they all are AMAZING. Especially cakes. You're a genius and i'm addicted. ;)

Guiness cake is my favourite. Looks fairly simple to make, might have to give it a go.

This cake looks fantastic I can just taste how moist it must be. The cream cheese white chocolate frosting is good enough to serve in a bowl all by itself ! But Donal where did you find a green Kitchenaid? I know it’s for St. Patrick’s but it also reminds me of the old soda fountain equipment - the mixers and malt dispensers! What a color 👍.

I could probably eat this entire cake and be ok with it... Looks so good!! I think I might make this for my friends :)
