I love that you used arrowroot rather than corn starch. I agree that body butters are more for winter use. At least for me. Thanks for sharing, it looks wonderful.

Arrowroot is AMAZING for skin. I use nothing else!
I've made similar products for years and use them in my families hair and on the skin. The stand mixer is great. I normally use an emersion blender and achieve a beautiful, silky, fluffy texture.
I'm definitely going to make this. I love chocolate!
Beautiful. Love the 2 tone effect. Lots of information in this video. Living in Vegas I only make these in winter months.
Lovely! Can't wait to try it . Thank you for the video 😊

Thank you very much for posting this. I suffer from Actinic Keratosis, a pre-cancerous skin condition from being left out in the blistering hot sun with no sunblock when I was a toddler in Texas. I am very light-skinned and had to be hospitalized. This recipe is a healing one for me, bless you sister! Keep the videos coming, I subscribed :) ***** 5 Stars

I am so sorry this happened to you, and that you've found something that comforts you. There are tons of ways these ingredients can be combined and many people find their preferences as they experiment. its good to know that this one did help you.
Thank you so much for all of this information!
I loveee this..thanks so much for the info on not melting the shea
Thank you. You're informative without being boring. Subscribed.
I really enjoy watching and listening to your videos, lots of great information. I love making whipped body butters with raw organic ingredients, I just let the natural scents come out and I add a bit of cocoa powder to give color and additional scent and benefits. I have had some collapse though, but it was scorching hot outside and they were just standing on a shelf, so I agree with you, that they are best used in the winter.
Nice demonstration. I loved listening to your instructions and your educational tone.

Thermal Mermaid, Thank you very much for this natural body cream formula. I will implement it as soon as possible. There is a lot of natural shea butter here in Central African Republic where I live now. See you soon
I think I can smell the body butter through the screen. 😍. Nice and simple. I can't wait to try this! Tfs
I love the video. Your voice, the background music, the information and the amazing body butter are just beautiful. Thank you very much 🙂
Awesome video. Love the product, presentation, and information.
I would like to just dive into that bowl and smother myself in the fluffy, silky goodness!
I read the comment that your voice is soothing...I did not take the comment seriously until I viewed your content...I am mesmerize by your voice, instructions and the music. Thank you..I felt so calmed while viewing your video. I have subscribed!!😄
your voice should be on a late night smooth jazz radio station 😎

I bet this smells amazing lol you are always really neat when it comes to putting the product in the jar.
I just love that it stays fluffy!! I make my own body butter but not like this method so I'm going to try this the next time I need a refill! Thanks for the info

What do you do to keep it fluffy?
@BellaHairCare4u
4 жыл бұрын
TheQueenrevolution I used to refrigerate it to let it stiffen then I’d mix it with a hand mixer. But now I add soft Shea butter to my melted butters then whip it in a kitchenaid stand mixer. I’d add shea butter as necessary.
Excellent video thanks!
luxurious looking!

I checked out Crafter's Choice to find that Cool Coconut fragrance oil and I don't think they sell it anymore OR maybe I have the wrong website altogether! Great recipe and LOVE the end result!
Great video !
Beautiful
Fabulous!!! I made it this morning and it's every bit as fluffy as it looks in the video, like a cloud. I was out of Argon oil so I substituted Hazelnut oi. I used the unrefined Shea and Cocoa butters as she stated. I had regular brown Mica and it worked fine. I can't use fragrances so wasn't able to incorporate that. I have many intolerances (things like scents thickeners/emulsifiers/glycerin & preservatives...the list goes on and on so have been looking for a body butter without any of those things and this is IT. All of my homemade products are made in small containers that have to be frozen and used as needed which, surprisingly, works pretty well. Now I can't wait to use it all so I can try some tweeks, just because. There was a little hitch in my git-along upon signing up to her site to order the recipe (system thing) and she handled it immediately & professionally. Just like her videos. Well done! Now to see if she has others that I can use or modify...I'm hooked.

This looks so luxurious. Did you know KitchenAid has a second paddle that has a piece of silicone attached and scrapes almost to the extreme edge of the bowl which means less scrapping down of the sides.
Your voice is very soothing

Hi Thank you so much for this recipe, it is amazing, can you please help me with what preservative I can use if I am trying to see this product.
Thank you, Mermaid
Thank you so much for the lovely body butter recipe. I've also found that the scent of unrefined shea butter can vary from supplier to supplier. I recently got a sample from a new Canadian distributor out of Ontario and found it to be a sharp musky scent versus the more familiar soft musk that is typical of the local brand of shea butter that I regularly buy. :)Jen

A lot of people don’t like it but I do. It’s almost like sandlewood.
Can you break this down so that we could try to make only one 4-oz jar? I'd like to make one to test and see if I like it before I make a large batch. Thank you!
I’m loving your site. It’s super informative! Thank you. I’ve been doing so much research and I’m ready to get started but I’m struggling on finding quality butters. Can you tell me where you get the butter? I didn’t see that on your site.

Dear Loran 💜 Amazon has the 1lb of shea butter unrefined
Do you source all your ingredients from Crafter choice? I’ve considered by my cocoa butter and oils from crafter choice but I don’t know if they are good quality.
ok the arrow root you were talking about can that be substituted for ginseng root that's been grated down and dehydrated? I wanted to put ginseng in a lotion I'm trying to create because of all the benefits that come with it and just wondering what your thoughts would be.
Good video. In making it, what ingredients do you use? u should give details name and measurement on the video when it is processing.
Lovely
Yumm! Cocoa butter adds so much lovely chocolate smell and the feel of it is amazing. Nicely done :)Jen
My shea always has lumps at the bottom. How do u get them out?
this is wonderful beautiful cream
That look nice
I'm sure it smells lovely😍😍 how long is the shelf life for this? And are perservatives added in this?
For your mica powders what brand do you use?
Please where can we get some to buy . Or can you recommend a best body lotion or cream for a smooth chocolate complexion . Please
Is there a reason you don't use the whisk attachment when processing?
Thank you
Where do you buy your fragrance oils from?
I enjoy listening to you.
Hello 😀 just came across you're channel. What a lovely looking body butter and I love the fact that it doesn't have any preservatives in it. Will definitely be looking to subscribe to you're page xx

I've made loads of body products over the years and honestly I would rather have the minimal amount of preservative needed than risk nasties / mould growing in my products......not all natural is good or safe and not all synthetic is bad, in fact synthetic ingredients go through rigorous safety testing where as natural ingredients usually have no safety testing at all.....

@Hibiscus Syriacus very true..my concern though is when products like scrubs are used there is a good chance that some water can enter the container either wet hands or even people using products while in the shower...that's the worry I have, not so much before the product is opened...

@Hibiscus Syriacus that's good to know...I think I will go on the side of caution if I'm selling....like you say if for personal use there is no need.
So where do I find this specific recipe please?
Hi I just love your video and want to try this bodybutter...Can you pls tell me whether the butter will remain fluffy and not melt in a country like India as its very hot n humid here...
Hey.. could you please add the amount of every substance in there? thank you.
Can you use a different fragrance oil to this or will it make it smell gross?
TFS does this stay fluffy or does it firm up eventually?..you answered my question 😄

I got this recipe from the thermalmermaid learning library. It is heavenly. You are really missing out if you don't try this recipe. I gave it to the ladies at my veterinarians office. They loved it. This is a must have for anyone in the medical profession or where you have to wash your hands constantly. My hands look 20 years younger using it like I do.
