Thing about berries is that it's really hard to find fantastic ones; a perfect strawberry is the most delicious thing ever but a mediocre one is a huge letdown. A disappointing apple is better than a disappointing strawberry but a great apple can't touch a great strawberry. So do you want fruit that's reliably 7/10 (apple) or do you want to gamble on your fruit being 2/10 vs 10/10 (strawberry)? Ok, psychoanalysis over...

I live in Tennessee, and we get our strawberries from up in Virginia. Springtime is peak for them, and they are some of the best strawberries you’ll have in your life. Apples are pretty great too… honeycrisp and gala apples are fan favorites around here.

I thought to myself, "Grace is silly, I found the greatest chocolate fudge cake recipe online," and you linked THE SAME RECIPE! I can attest, it's a great chocolate cake.

The good thing about pre-mix cakes is if you are not a regular baker you just buy one mix and you have all the ingredients you need rather than needing to buy lots of separate ingredients! Great video as usual!

And I think the opposite reason is probably why regular bakers are a bit dubious about them - I don't think they taste bad or anything, but since I pretty much always have the ingredients to make a cake on hand they are not good value for me and don't save a lot of time either

It's also easier if you are cooking with young children as well. Also because they come with icing although I bake I don't tend to have icing or rice paper characters in.

Those oil cakes are really good, lots of the recipes come from back in the day during war time when butter was rationed. That's why a lot of them seem to have minimal ingredients. (I did a report for school once about war time cooking!)

Actually I'd love that if Grace attempted to make a cake out of the rations I know carrot was often used as a substitute for sugar.

the only time strawberries are good is for 2 weeks of the year when British strawberries are in season. they are the best then they go tasteless. The same thing happened to me in lockdown i made my usual insane chocolate cake and i found a quick chocolate frosting and it was so good but i lost the screenshot and i can't find it anywhere. I remember it was hot water cocoa powder and i think butter i cannot remember but it was so good. It was a 1 minute frosting recipe.

I don’t like coffee but that churros mocha drink sounds right up my street, as I love churros too!

I agree with strawberries. Raspberries are where it’s at.

Loving the side part ... gives your hair a lot of volume. And, as for the "berry world?" You REALLY have to search for GOOD strawberries ... there are so many substandard strawberries in the world.

How about going and having your hair and makeup done for a video...your so gorgeous it would be fun to see what they would come up with.

Do you have Duncan Hines cake mixes? They are the best where I am, but I always prefer homemade. Yours looks so good, Grace, but I really think you should give berries a second chance, WITH the cake, along side. Raspberries...mmmm! (Only Pick-Your-Own are good, though.)

You know, Grace, I watch your videos for a long time, but I must say that you haven't aged a day! Also it seems all these calories and sugar have absolutely zero effect on you! You still look super fit! That's against physics. lol ... Cheers!

Maybe you "going off" berries is related to the amount of sugar you eat. Processed refined white cane sugar changes your tastebuds as you become addicted and things like berries, the lowest fructose content of the fruits, no longer taste as appealing. Mangoes and other tropical fruits are higher in fructose. Even apples and grapes are being "designed/developed" lately to taste sweeter.

Drawing a bath would be the archaic term as Grace is using pressurised plumbing and not a pump or well. Running a bath would be considered the correct modern term

starbucks chai is horrific, go to an indian cafe and try a real chai, worlds difference
