In what world is a 50-50 kickflip a harder/higher scoring trick than a kickflip back smith.

Seriously. 7 or 8 years ago you would be lucky to see a feeble on that rail in the women’s competition. 50-50 kickflip out is a kids trick. Obviously it’s tougher on a handrail but kickflip back smith is like a men’s sls level trick

Bullshit scoring in the end there. Chloe had already dont 5050 kickflip in her run, shouldnt have been scored thay high. Leal’s scores were also very underscored

This Sydney round was the best SLS I've seen over the years. Both the men's and women's were absolutely incredible to watch.

Rayssa always gave me the impression that she feels unbeatable, so cool that now this crazy australian girl is showing her that she s not going to have it easy in the future! Good luck to the japanese team as well, amazing skaters

While she was clapping she said "Puta que pa..." then the image cut. It could have been "Puta que pariu" as in "Godamn it!" or...as something way worse, lol. I chose to believe she was impressed!

@@dropelaves Im Brazilian and she clearly said the equivalent in Portuguese to "Godamn it". She was impressed by the awesome trick her friend just did. They are always very supportive to each other.

The kickflip was switch and she had a better run score. Even if Rayssa got better scores on the singles it’s not clear if she would be able to catch up. Love both, but Covell took this one. Had Rayssa land that last trick, it might have been a different story, but she didn’t.

Cause it’s a wack trick. The judges always say “ you don’t see people doing that” that’s cause everyone knows that’s not a trick you should do. There’s a reason everyone learns that trick when they’re 12 and they leave it there
