Yes...you are correct! Sadly it's not mentioned in the critiques of her performance that this is her original arrangement for the album. This 22year old BW conceptualized and produced this entire project from her bedroom/studio! So empowering! Chloe &her sister Halle are such a trailblazers. Seemed like an honorable tribute to Nina and a reminder to all of us of the power we possess as BW.🤎🖤

As a black woman, I have to say Chloe's performance was a breath of fresh air. She oozes sexuality unapologetically even though she's fully covered. It's long past time for black women to express our artistic nature, beauty, and sexuality in entertainment without concern. Chloe is talented and this song was a great introduction to what Chloe's artistry can really be. Like the song says - it's a new dawn.

Chloe got a opportunity to show her range and she did just that for ABC which is a night audience to go all out which is very fitting and GMA to vocally to shut hows up. Chloe is too talented for her own good and people are scared and it shows. She’s a SUPERSTAR and a force to be reckoned with.

Hence “new dawn, new day” as her performance went from night to daylight. For me, her dance was corresponded to the night theme and her bubbly energy was giving day energy. It was a vibe and she can do no wrong in my eyes 🙌🏾
