Jesus. I love this game so much. You can’t go wrong playing it. It’s one of the few games you can enjoy when losing or winning. The game is just bloody fun. Couldn’t suggest it enough

@@Ja_Zer I’ve seen more people just messing around rather than being toxic, and I’ve heard of an instance where a player was just playing music in the middle of a battle and everyone just left him alone and fought around him.

I had never heard of this game before this year, and now I'm in love with it.

This is so fun! I rewatched your first Chivalry 2 video quite a few times already because it's just so funny lol

there is still no cross party a year into the game. you have to coordinate joining the same server with your friend, i know its a small nitpick but it gets very annoying hopefully next update they add it.

I'm guessing by cross-party you mean console + PC? Adding a friend to your party has always been easy enough, but I suppose I never had to add a console player.

I’m not tryna shade the game I love it and think it’s worth the buy, it’s just annoying looking up crossplay games with your friends and this pops up so everyone buys it but then you can only snipe each other’s lobbies. Definitely don’t want to sound like a hater I still support the game, just if there’s a small friend group out there like mine they should be warned.

The combat is quite the step down from Mordhau, the collisions feel way off. Chiv 2 seems to focus more on fun and casual play.

9:05 I get why coming back to the game after a prolonged time away, Craig would think that the game has gotten "regular updates", but as someone who has played this fairly regularly throughout the year, that is really not the case. This is a small team, and while the updates have been good, they have been //very// slow. Bugs, glitches, and exploits are often left in the game for months at a time. Maps come out very infrequently. Do not expect things of the scale of Tenosia on a regular basis - in fact, don't expect anything on a regular basis. All that said, the game is incredibly fun and very well-balanced for what it is!

We got 7 new maps, atleast like 15-20 new armor and weapon skins, 2 new unique weapons, a new faction, and 4 new game modes (LTS, 1v1, 3v3, and brawl) all within a year. for a team their size it's actually really impressive.

Ik what u mean,PC players are always tweaking controls n console players cannot, I've been playing the game for a month straight (religiously!) I can see a major difference from the the two (n techniques) with the team damage as well console players are bottom tier unless in beginner (less players more bots) I'm very mechanical minded n run tons of different settings, fighting techniques etc n the fact remains u will always get best by PC player (clearly) u can't beat wrist movement (not always in this kind of game anyway) I love the game 👍but it is a PC game for sure.

@@lada8744 u are correct n since my last post I've made maaaaajor improvement lol!! Took awhile but I've realized console players aren't at as much of a disadvantage as I thought,I play on ps5 myself (n ps4 at other home)n instead of trying to play like a pc player I started playing like a console player with the help of button settings in console, I went from 2 to 4 kills a whole game to a average of 10 to 20 (not to bad👍)I can honestly say I get the combat now.

i give it 9/10. its a cool game and big improvement over 1. i prefer it over mordhau because its easier and more accessible. u still have mechanics but its not as complicated as mordhau. also mordhau devs are dumb af and barely release updates

Mordhau devs don't release a game as a crossplatform then take 12 months to add a server browser or still have 0 cross parties, torn banner are useless.

@@HumanTank12 That's why Chivalry 2 supports consoles and Mordhau doesn't? 🤔 Imagine pointing out actual facts and calling someone a fanboy because of it while all you do is make absurd claims without anything to back it up. Imagine being this much of a hater. 😂 If Torn Banner are bad, what does that make Triterion who can't even follow a road map they made yet Torn Banner has consistently brought out new maps, weapons and etc. in their first year? If Mordhau, can't do that properly in three years, it's easy to see which dev team is flat out better. Have Triterion even fulfilled everything they put out in their year one road map? At least, we know Torn Banner will deliver the updates and cross parties are coming this summer.

Do you think Chivalry-like combat could be great in MMORPGs? I´m personally a big fan of skill-based combat systems because it keeps me engaged more than any other combat system. I´d really enjoy a well balanced cross between chivalry/mordhau and movie battles 2 (mod for Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy).

Theres a game called Gloria Victis that is a mix of this combat and Mordhau combat and its an MMO, its not exactly a great game but the battles are fun as fuck because of the system.

@@TINYHEAD69 Mordhau combat is slightly more complex otherwise there's no difference. For the most part it's the parry window and you can hold it in chiv 2. The kick doesn't interrupt only breaks block, jab interrupts still, that's the biggest differences besides the weapon detail. You can still ballerina, drag/accel etc

Craig check out "Gloria Victis", it's a really amazing MMORPG that blends themes of first person elements such as in Chivalry with third person toggleable views and questing, was in the works a long time. As for Chivalry 2, I feel like it's really one of the best Medieval combat games out there, been enjoying it a lot, the maps in Chiv 2 are so beautiful...

@@keldor8302 Nooo, it always looked a little dated, but it's strange, you'll find yourself stopping at every corner and saying "Damn that looks good". I suppose it's a little like marmite, you'll hate it or love it there is no in-between. I've never heard anyone say "kcd is alright" I highly suggest getting it, if you don't like it shame, but if you do like it prepare to lose six months of your life as you become the Henry you've always wanted to be.
