Tess I normally never comment on videos but I just wanted to say; I work with cancer patients and to hear you talk about your treatment and how you found your way back to yourself is so inspiring. To share these kinds of things for the whole world to see is so courageous. I wish you so much joy for 2024.

Tess- this video was SO encouraging and helpful to me. I am almost 8 months postpartum and struggle with my self image daily. Your story gave me so much perspective. When you said you would give up your post cancer body for your postpartum body to not have had cancer, I was so inspired. I never want to take health for granted, and it is OKAY for our bodies to look like we have had babies because we have! Thank you ❤

I am glad you made a point to say you would take your postpartum body pre-cancer 10/10. That seems like it should be obvious, but I think we really take for granted our healthy bodies. We hyper fixate on physical appearance and if that doesn’t meet social norms you feel something is wrong with your body. If you are healthy, your body is right! I have watched you since your character lookbook days and am very happy you are healthy and well!

I always really appreciated that you never over showed your family on social media!

I still remember when you and Patrick first moved to NYC and your dad I believe drove the moving truck w the furniture! Can't believe NYC chapter is coming to a close but so looking forward to your next one 💕

I'm a mom of 2 and I think we are harder on ourselves more than anyone. And I hate when ppl make that a comment like "you had a baby you have an excuse"... I see how much you've changed. Tess, you do an excellent job of sharing your life on social media. You don't invade other's privacy, your family is not overshared, the guest appearances always have a point, and you don't make it weird. Showing your family on social media does not equate to overexposure; I think when influencers draw that conclusion, the hiding/dodging can be really inauthentic and uncomfortable to watch.

I, too, focused on myself last year. I got out of my comfort zone which led me to doing a 5 day backpacking trip in Grand Canyon thru my college. I met one of my best friends and also met my now boyfriend through her. It’s just crazy how much a decision you make can actually be one of the best decisions you’ve ever made. Here’s to 2024!
