@@stingerjohnny9951 I wasn't very big on anime when I was younger as the only exposure to cartoons was stuff like Hanna Barbera type stuff in the 80's as a kid and just out grew it. My son now that's a different story, add to that the availabilty of it nowadays and the much more serious subject mater that most didn't have access to or know about in my younger years. most of the stuff he watches is better than most TV shows and movies that have come out in the last 8=10 years. Especially the horror paranormal and supernatural stuff, a lot of it just draws you in even the teen friendly stuff is pretty cool and the ones based on video games are a lot better than the live action junk they make. some have a mix of humor of all kinds and serious content mixed in. if you have netflix two I can recommend to give you an idea are Love Death and Robots seasons 1& 2 and Castlevania seasons 1-4. there are others too give them a look if your curious.
