imagine hearing this on the battlefield with drums beating and a thousand hooves of horses galloping at you at breakneck speed with arrows whirring through the skys and fucking FALCONS flying at you off their hands to fucking pick you up off your horse. These guys are the definition of badass.
I love this stuff! the sophistication and immaculate skill of these masters is mind-blowing! I am stoked that i found it here, this is my favourite song at the moment:)

If you're interested in Tuva and its musicians, I've visited Tuva 3 times and wrote all about it in MY ADVENTURES IN TUVA. A simple Google search with the title will show where you can read it.
Bistin Atı Tıvadyr (Tuvan Language) Bizim Adımız Tıvadır! (Turkey) LONG live Pan-Turkısm!! :D :D Long Live Tuva And Turkic- Altaic Nations :D

Amazing!
gyönyörű/beautiful!
It is called a doshpuluur, the Tuvan version of a topshuur. They vary from two to four strings. Wikipedia has more info on them.
I could drive a semi truck to this. It's sounds like a wandering traveler's song. Never heard of khoomei throat singing before. very interesting Thank you for sharing.
Long Live Turk!... Long Live Turan...
simplesmente fantático!!!
Stunning! Bravo
Go for it, I've been going for a year now, really good for your breathing and anyone can do it with practice.
Awesome!
Tuvinian hoomey is the best in the world.
I believe the song beginning at 3:50 is called Kombu. I have Huun-Huur-Tu's more down-tempo arrangement of it on my channel.
This is good stuff.
well put. however, i must add that Mongun-ool Ondar indeed has such an impressive control of this, that all respects must fly to the guy. its relatively easy to teach yerself khoomei and kargyraa, but sygyt needs one hell of a good control.
@GalenOfSunol look at "siberian throat singing" and you can see him in his young years.
does someone know where i can get the lyrics of the last part of the video?
now i know im a mughal, coz i used to do this shit when i was a kid and always thoght it was cool seriouse
