Why do they make movies like this? It is nothing like the show. It just isn't funny. They did the same thing with Dukes of Hazard. So Stupid to destroy a good show by making crappy movies. Why can't they come up with an original script along the same premiss without destroying the integrity of a classic.

Bullet MagnetMan if you watched this as a kid, then you should know this does NOTHING to honor the series except in name alone. This movie looks HORRIBLE! Could have been a great drama with a little humor, but no. They had to ruin it with sex jokes and an over abundance of swearing and attempt to turn the classic show into a comedy. Bad move.

***** do I detect a whinger? ;-) I didn't actually say I LIKED the original now did I? I doubt it could be taken seriously in today's market with a name like CHIPS. It is motorcycle cops after all. But yes, I'm sure it will be a shallow, lude movie with a predictable bad guy and cheesy ending. But isn't that almost every movie these days?
