This is beautiful and tragic. My fav part of this piece was...Saito turning around with that absolutely deranged grin, with no break to the relaxing, halcyon music. I dunno, like, after all of Kenshin and Kaoru's idyllic moments, some part of Kenshin's terrible past keeps bursting in uninvited. Gives the feeling that this is about someone trying so hard to stay, and the other wishing so much they wouldn't leave. But they both can't have it that way. I adore your Kenshin edits, thanks for sharing :')

I was wondering why there were so little likes, I'm just early lol

I can identify with kenshin on many levels (change killing with other stuff). Life can be really cruel and suffering and pain are the only things in this life that are certain. However, I do believe that there is a chance that little things can make a difference, that someone can appear in our lives and make it blissful. Yes everyone has their ups and downs and the possibility for us to take our own lives is always there so you can take your pain away if you want to, you are allowed to, but the act of living on it's own takes true courage so let's try to make the best of it with what we were given and never forget that even if you consider that your life is insignificant or empty, that you don't have a single cent, that you are trying against all of odds or even if you are carrying a big burden on your shoulders imposed by yourself or others, the fact that you are trying to live, and live honorably is something that should be praised and you should be proud of it. Nobody is perfect, we all can live many years making the same mistakes over and over, but you are trying and that is what really matters. So, let's try to make it to the end and see what happens. Hopefully another broken soul like mine reads this.

I think the latest kenshin movies are awful compared to OVAs. It must be the directing and the actress that plays tomoe, I like her in other movies, I just don't feel like she's the right choice for this role
