An Asian woman I met on a holiday, told me. “Sometimes men say things to me that I don’t like.” When I asked what she does about such remarks, she said. “ I do not receive this stuff.” Chinni takes it even further when she says, “These people must be interested in me to even say anything.”very true. Another person here who can say happily I fell in love with Chinni's energy right away! what a beautiful person and soul! I have to say, how refreshing the culture is toward ladyboys in thailand, accepted, respected andappreciated. This is good, I’m among the approvers of chinni. I was homophonic as a young man, i grew up in the 50-60’s. I learn from a non-aggressive gay guy (because he never made a pass at me) what his life was like, how he became this way. I learned there was no trauma, it was a a simple transition from a boy into his teenage years, puberty. I also learned there are all varieties of people, most born in the wrong body, as they’d say. Nearly all are not attractive in my eyes, but chinni is surprisingly attractive. And this is all separate from her personality, intelligence, and good heart. I’m not completely free of bias, i could not get passed all of her attributes, but it’s my issues not hers. I’m so happy, people are more accepting nowadays but still a ways to go. I’m an older man now, and thank god wiser. Any man, free of the chains of bias would be proud to take chinni on a date, as a girlfriend and even marry. At least for now she can find a decent life, and for that i believe there’s hope for the rest of us.

To be honest I liked the interview serie. Funny, witty, open, honest and realistic. Well done Chinni. I bet you’re a great laugh.

I like Chinni’s answer to the “Why are American trans women loud and rude?” Basically… “Look B…. I’m plenty loud and rude also. We all are.” Made me laugh. People assume all kinds of things about Thai Ladyboys which are partly predicated on the pretty pass. Hot girls always get away with all kinds of aggressive nonsense. That’s a story as old as time.

​​@@juventinocasillas3023As a trans person, there's a difference between saying "I'm not into that" vs "ew you're a man I'm not gay you're weird" people are allowing you to decline as long as you don't dehumanize people. That's what most of us advocate for respect. People in Thailand in my experience are more respectful to transgender people and that's why you don't see them being so loud as here.

Do you think trans people in Thailand are emotionless robots? Of course she’s going to care. She’s saying she doesn’t “care” because at the end of the day she knows she’s powerless to change the agency and freedom of another person. That is no different anywhere in the world. Western trans people realize this and experience this also. Are you complaining about trans people complaining about this rejection? That happens both in Thailand and the west. The difference is that you are hearing about it in English and you are likely not hearing about it in Thai. Talk to some Thai trans girls for any length of time as friends and you’ll hear plenty of such laments. Chinni is doing the classic “The Fox and the Grapes” sour grapes coping mechanism and you’re taking that at face value.

@@isaak1748 My wife is a Thai trans woman and we spend a lot of time in the US and in Thailand. What is really going on here is the same thing that happened in the early 2000’s with gay marriage. It was all gay marriage all the time on every channel and the pundits and talk shows were all talking about the end of all marriage and the end of family, day and night clutching every pearl in sight and making gay people look as bad as possible. Conservatives having lost that fight have refocused their target on trans people and are using this as another wedge issue and are doing their level best to find, amplify and magnify the loudest and most obnoxious trans people and make them look as unhinged as possible and then pretending this caricature is consensus opinion among all trans people. Then they can seem like the reasonable ones to get votes. These targeted smear campaigns work because people are busy and often have little personal experience with actual trans people and they assume there is a lot more truth in it than there actually is in the real world of actual trans people living their regular daily life.

As usual Chinni comes across as a beautiful genuine person. The challenge will always be that a significant percentage of people are attracted to her but react to what they think is "acceptable both socially and religiously" or what their friends would think. The reality is she is a person and should be treated as the nice person she is. As with all types of relationships, people find happiness and love no matter what combination they end up in. So long as it doesn't harm or hurt anyone. Also being with Chinni in public is the real test. If you are comfortable go with it. One thing that gets you when you are old and can't be with people anymore is the memories of "what if". Many people are unhappy at the end of life because of not doing things that may have upset others in their life. A bit deep but that is true...live without regrets. From Brisbane Australia.

The grand irony is that a lot of those little feminine ladyboys are more courageous then the big strong tough men who are interested in dating them. So many men don’t have the same courage to be seen with a ladyboy in public or bring her home to mom or introduce her to friends and coworkers. The reality is that this is just a taste of the difficulties and struggles with discrimination and prejudice that trans women like Chinni face all over the world. Chinni just throws her hair back smiles that perfect smile and says to the world, “Is that all you’ve got?”

You would describe Chinni as "she", or "her". EVERYONE knows Chinni is a biological male, but someone who looks and behaves like her, will basically be called a "her", or a "she".. It's pretty stupid to try to go out of your way to call Chinni or any trans person that looks like her, a "he". Now if Chinni had a beard, and totally didn't look like a chick, but demanded you called her a "she", because that's how they "feel".. That's a no, I'm gonna call you a he.

I know she said in the video she doesn’t mind be called as a man or women but a beautiful human. Although because she is presenting as a women I feel like we should use she/her pronouns. I hope people calling her a ladyboy/him or sexualize her doesn’t hurt her feelings.

Her🍎is cute. This is not a problem for me either. As a married man I may have a valid perspective to one of her observations: It has nothing to do with being straight, gay, bi, etc. It is curiosity, excitement, adventure, etc. Attraction is in our genetics, for ex: I am a caucasian male, of German decent if that matters or not, and I have only been with Asian women my whole entire life. I don't know why, this is just how I am wired, and I'm very ok with it. But honesty is always important. My wife, who is Asian of course, knows I am curious about LB and I have told her that a fantasy of mine is to be with her and a LB together one day. I don't ever hide this sort of thing from anyone because nobody ever seems to have a problem with what I have to say, probably because I am a 250lb heavily tattooed jacked guy, so like if I want your opinion I'll give it to you ;) Now thank you for this wonderful distraction, but I must get back to work...

Chinni is a beautiful human being. The gender is not important. It does not matter what form or body the kindness comes into this world. Body is secondary.

You can't help it if you're a beautiful woman so let them hate your beauty all they want ! Love your lips and beautiful eyes ! This is coming from a straight man !

"People who hide themselves, I think that they are sick." I know Chinni is a very articulate person but I never expected that she could get philosophical/spiritual. I always hear this with spiritual teachers like Sadhguru and Eckhart Tolle. When you are not able to express yourself or show who you really are, it rots your inner being. You show a facade day in and day out that you forget who you really are.

So many times weve seen gay/trans bashers get caught with the same people they pretend to hate. They definitely be in her DMS.

I think many trans struggle with their position in the world which is understandable given many peoples views of them. It is great to see such a confident person not afraid to be honest about who she is. Great interview, and Chinni has such a wonderful radiant smile. Anyone who feels the need to insult her should take a good look at themselves, perhaps they are the problem, certainly not this suay mak mak lady.

I think that people who post negative or hateful comments even have serious unresolved problems with their sexuality, beyond that, it doesn't matter, the important thing is to be at peace with yourself, with your body, having reached that awareness, acceptance, realization of the true self and of one's dreams which are then the authentic reality, having said that, I tell you, why don't you participate in Miss Tiffany? I am a retired journalist but unfortunately there are too many yobbo farangs in Thailand who give us a bad name; talking through a beer glass. Dismiss them, you are a lovely person.
