Not true, bro. People from mainland India are fascinated by NE states. I've known people who have taken conducted tours there to 7 states and were smitten by the beauty of NE. Actually Manipur has a huge mix of people all over India living there.. If Bangladesh was not a separate country, it would be so much easier for us to travel and come to NE by road or train.. May our NE prosper!!

@GLOBAL WISPA LOL believe it or not, nagas and arunachalis genetically are closer to tibetans and mongolians who are lighter than han chinese and they never mixed with burmese. manipuris, mizos, tripuris did mix though with burmese. the reason nagas/arunachalis/tibetans look darker today is because the region where they live now is more south than where their original ancestors started.

Thanks to this sweet couple 🥰 I am Naga from Manipur state. Actually we are not naked nor totally disconnected from the other world. We do have many world figures in north East states like Mary Kom who won many times world champion in boxing and many others too in different fields. We are less developed comparing other parts India but we do wear proper clothes and once you come to our place it will be hard to differentiate who are Koreans, Chinese, or northeasterns. Due to the influence of globalisation we also have started to degrade our beautiful culture, dress, dance, songs etc and trying to preserve it. Video in this song shows their original cultural dress but we don't roam about with those dresses only on special occasions or traditional festivals. The best you can get from us is the sweet hospitality, simple and innocent heart with full of genuine love. We do have many natural tourism places. Do visit once
