We are overdue to reduce our dependence on cheap Chinese products!

And boy do those Chinese products SUCK! At Least as far as the ATV's are concerned. I can just imagine how dangerous it is to drive a Chinese built Car or motorcycle that goes Highway speeds! Just found out after making this video, that the carburetor was also defective from the factory on the ATV I was assembling!

@@QTwithMCbut they sure are fun AND dependable after an after market coil, spark plug carb and air filter. Future upgrades will be tires and a larger rear sprocket for torque. Upgrade Parts are affordable and plentiful.

@@GluteusMax777 I agree, after a number of hours of work on them, they do become more dependable (along with some better parts thrown in!). But, they sure can be nerve racking in the beginning and for a while thereafter! After replacing the defective carburetor on this particular ATV, it looks like the new $20 carburetor is defective in a different way (a problem with the main jet). The one that came with the ATV had a cylinder in the carburetor that would just not fit in the bore properly!

@@QTwithMC bummer about your luck with em. The 2 i have are great after doing said upgrades. But I use them around my little farm for some chores and a little bit of joy riding.

@@GluteusMax777 Yeah. I had a Tao Tao 125cc before this for my 10 year old. It held up pretty good for 4 years. Finally, the engine mounts literally cracked off from the frame. But, he was riding it harder than just lightly around the farm. ;-)
