CHINESE STYLE PATA TIM | EASY TO FOLLOW RECIPE | Tried & Tested Recipe
CHINESE STYLE PATA TIM
1 pc Pata Front (whole/sliced)
1 head minced garlic
3 pcs star anise
1/4 cup light soy sauce
2 Tbsp Patis
1/3 cup white sugar
1/2 cup pineapple juice (unsweetened)
1/4 cup chinese cooking wine
1/4 cup oyster sauce
ground black pepper
1 can (225g) Young Corn, well drained
1 small can (115g) shiitake mushroom, well drained
*Bokchoy (blanched), optional.
Slurry: 1/3 cup cornstarch mix in 2/3 cup cold water
*3 Liters Water
*Walang mabili na bokchoy, kaya hindi ako nakapaglagay. Lagay nyo lang po ang blanched bokchoy sa gillid ng cook pata tim.
*ADD more slurry kung kulang pa sa lapot 🙂

All time Big fan of patatim Chinese style. Your version is to eliminate meat residues or scam through Boiling as step 1. So clean....the right way. The rest is common knowledge. Unlike others style they ignored scam removal. Health and safety first. Mother knows best. Thankslot

this is good easy style to cook pata tim na hindi na mag pi prito ng pata sa daming cooking oil at nakakatakot sa tilamsik pati. yes ito parang adobo style little ingredients different star anise and baby corn ,shiitake mushrooms, etc. sarap din ang labas .
First time akong nakakita ng cook na lahat ng alahas sa jewlry shop suot uso na ba ngayon ang magluto naka suot ng alahas? Ho Baka show off lang

It is better to soak in a casserole the pata in a cold water for 1 to 2 hrs, just to let the blood eased out from the inner most blood vessels. When you blanch the pata, the blood inside the meat pata will surely harden and will not be extracted.
