Chinese People React to Foreigners Complimenting Them in Perfect Chinese!
So ever since the pandemic started, I essentially haven't interacted with anyone over the last 2 years and Brian was just in lockdown for over a month, so we're both feeling a little bit more social anxiety than usual. Today, though, we're trying to challenge ourselves to do better. We're gonna talk to random people on the street. And in order to spread a little positivity, we're gonna be complimenting people to see how they react when these two laowai speak to them in Chinese.

真的！我前兩天在南加州的一間星巴克和倆位陌生人中年女子說：她們的便裝及打扮很特別，她們看起來真得很漂亮！她們一位來自英國，另一位來自新西蘭，在南加州已經住了 20 多年，但風格的確還是跟一般的美國人不太一樣，所以我注意到。之後，她們倆真得非常高興！

在国外习惯被夸和夸人了，回国不久打管理区的咨询电话，是一个声音甜甜的姑娘接待。在快挂断的时候忍不住说“你的声音真的好好听！谢谢你接我的电话！”。姑娘明显震了一下说“啊？哦” 就挂断了。可能我对于不认识的人这么夸，确实有些唐突了吧～😝
