    Just a comment on your S tube, if you need a bend in the out end of it, its recommended to have atleast 3 feet before bending, as it can "blow back" and make faults, yours is straight out to an S, which potentially can cause problems as well :)

    Simply replacing the sensor means you might be replacing it with another unreliable sensor. I found the problem with the sensor is unreliable crimps at the sensor end. Remove the sensor from the heater. Now gently pull the wires out of the crimped connection at the sensor end and solder the wires together instead. This will permanently fix the problem!

  • @WanderingTheWainwrights

    So solder wires together and bypass the sensor completely??

  • @HamudyCars

    @HamudyCars

    @@WanderingTheWainwrights I don't think that is what he meant, the sensor is very important to tell it how how the heater is and when to shut of and turn on etc. I think what is meant is pull the wires out of the crimps that are joining them to the sensor and solder them directly to the sensor instead of the crimps connecting them to the sensor.
