I was born and raised as a very orthodox African American Jew. I'm just curious as to what does Jewish blood and non Jewish blood look like and how do you distinguish the difference. I always thought blood had three categories A, B and O.

Why do you need a DNA test? When people go out from Egipt they had different DNA, when they go out from Israel had more different DNA, when they go out from the other countries they were go (because were in war or something) they had different even more different DNA. So jewish can have whatever DNA, what's your problem? In fact, do you know jewish people have at least 3 diferent kinds of genotype? So if their family mixed their DNA with other since a lot of years, they can have even a rare DNA no seen before. Do you are a genetist or something? Do you have test to say who is jewish? Do you decide who is jewish because you found a gene that says how many "jew" or "muslim" or "evangelist" are you? Do you have a quimic reaccion that say who is jewish like a test pregnancy? Please, don't be such a Mengele.

The last Rabbi died in the middle of 19th century, after that they gradually forgot their identity as Jews. And when the fact was discovered after the opening-up that there used to be a Jewish community living in China for 1000 years they have actually been assimilated into the Han Chinese--losing their languages, Seismic appearances and most importantly, their Judaism faiths. They celebrate Lunar New Year but not Hanukah, they eat pork as we do but not the kosher food, and the only difference they knew about was that they do not eat blood vessels without knowing exactly why. Actually they were told that they are Jewish descendants and was then motivated to know about their Jewish identities. Honestly, I doubt deep about their motivation to move back. Is it truly because of their Zionist dreams and Judaism faiths, or simply because Israel is a more developed nation than China is? Though I believe the first factor does matter to some extent, but should they be, say Ethiopian descendants, would they consider the option to be move back? I am suspicious of this--especially when I heard their mutual greetings in Henan accent, which was very similar to me, in an expression unique to us--"Comrades, we have finally made joined our forces"

Wow, It is realy amazing, The jews people is in all the bloods and races in the world. Thinking in my grandmother was from China and decided to live in Peru with her Father and brothers.

It doesn 't matter how you look like, but your heart is more important. Jewish and Chinese people are the greatest people all over the world. I love the Jews because they are the chosen people of God, and their descendants are all over the world, and in many races.

This is really a beautiful story and I think it has the potential for something more. i knew one of my friends was a jew from kaifeng, a chinese. of course back then we laughed at him even he was so seriously making the claim. that was late 70s and early 80s.. we were kids and didn't know better. honestly back then, the word jew didn't mean anything to us...

There is plenty of information on this. A Jew born in Canada would be Canadian by nationality. Their religion is Judaism, and possibly they could be ethnically Semitic as well. In this example you see Chinese Han who become Israeli (nationality) citizens. Learn about what nationality is please.

@austpers I see you're also from Iran. Did you know that prior to 1979, before the Islamic revolution hit Iran, Israel and Iran had very close ties? Persians and Jews were like brothers, going back to biblical times. In fact, a lot of the Persians who escape Iran, are friends with Jewish people and Israelis, today and they are not proud of what their government has become. A lot of them even reside in Israel now. Amazing what Islam has done to Iran. I hope you guys will be free one day.
