That's exactly it, there's stress now that wasn't there before they started with the Sprinter van stuff and it comes through on the videos. I'm sure that van was expensive. They invested all that money in an effort to take the channel in a new direction. Nobody likes it and the views are less than half what they were a year ago and getting worse with each new video. I'm sure they're both worried about it.

I moved from Toronto to Australia and I watch your shows to feel "at home". This video doesn't show off your skills or somewhere where anyone should visit. Local gems, not fossilised turds.

Wow that buffet was horrifying. Issshhh. And I’ve been a huge fan for years now and I have to say, the new video format is rather dull and boring. It’s like your being forced to do something you don’t like. They are so long and super hard to watch without falling asleep. I hate to be rude but I just want you to know the fans miss your old videos. We miss Rusty. We miss your 24 hour stealth camping videos with food reviews, tours of the town and bike rides. We miss the fast food reviews too. Please go back to the old Ken

Hey Ken come on man, you went from doing friggin cool ass videos on bike riding in the mountains to a half assed food review. COme on at least show some enthusiasm while you eat, you should only eat at places which you are excited about or places which have had a lot of hype surrounding it. Dont eat and film at a place just because you feel you have to.

@@FoghornKenhorn You know what you can have if you’re ever in a situation and you feel like you’re gonna get food poisoning is a probiotic. You can buy them at the drugstore they’re about 50 bucks but if you feel like you’re going to get food poisoning or E. coli you take one of these pills and your stomach will be normal again, two or three days. But you won’t end up in Emergency. Something you don’t want to do in a small town in Saskatchewan.

I thought the same thing, I even went to check the list on his channel to make sure I didn’t miss it. I like those videos because they always had high energy and were fun even though a bit repetitive, but I’m missing the upbeat videos.

if you wanna save some money stop spending $40 plus for a crappy chinese buffet.....that was a sad excuse for a spread....honestly starting thinking the canned beans and bunless hot dogs were starting to sound a lot better...

As someone who's been watching KBDProductions since the "Just For You" days, it breaks my heart to say this, but I think it's time for me to unsubscribe. I haven't watched a video since the Buckees trip, and these Van Life videos aren't working at all. I get that Ken wants to live a healthier, more active lifestyle, but the content just isn't there anymore. It's a damn shame that "Domik Nation" has been destroyed and replaced with videos like this. Best of luck Ken... Hope it works out for you.

This is a brutal buffet...did you just look up the closest one? Even compared to a Mandarin buffet, this one is pretty rough...

Not really a fan of any of these channels that occasionally do buffet videos. We all know what buffet food tastes like. From bag to plate….

Ken man, the travel is good, just bring the food scale rating back while you guys eat food. Mix your original content with your new stuff. I think that’s a good compromise.

@@reejaysicat5954 ​ Oh I see. Well, I guess to some extent, a channel has to evolve. There's only so many times Ken can go to McDonalds and ask us to scratch it and sniff it. Personally, I'd love it if Ken were to employ the same format he does for fast food places but instead focus on mom and pop shops exclusively. They'd love the exposure and I'm sure Ken's digestive tract would appreciate the better quality food.

Does Carol have bad joints in her fingers?? She doesn't look like she has great dexterity :(

Get a tripod so you don't have to take turns holding the camera... You can just turn it to whoever you want to see taking a bite and the other one can still eat..

Best of luck with your adventures and the new direction you're taking your channel, Ken! I have thoroughly enjoyed watching you videos for many years but the new content just isn't for me. Peace.

My dad was a Saskatchewan farm boy and that was his beer. Personally I would’ve had Kokanee. It’s a bc beer, drinking one right now cheers.

Pilsen is a city in the Czech Republic that has a beer manufacturer. A Pilsner is styled after this beer.

I'm enjoying the content, but not as much as the classic Ken going out and getting the food the person in front of him ordered. I know it's dumb, but it's entertaining. LIke that time you got a gift card and a tea and no food. That made me laugh out loud. This on the other hand is like a documentary on travel life - which is great - but not exactly exciting. Nonetheless, all the best for you and Carol on your adventures. You deserve it! Can't wait to do the same thing.

big nozzles Ken are quick so you gotta watch your intake so it doesn’t rush out.

You guys make the most humdrum of activities interesting...so fun to find your channel. Besides wanting some wonton soup, I am now craving the crunch of a spring roll.

Mantou is always paired w/ condensed milk to make it sugary sweet and tasty. Normally in a buffet, we tend to stay away w/ the carbs *wink... take all the proteins that you can lolz ... to make the most out of what you paid for :) nice vid brother! much love from PH
