I had the e10 error. Followed your advise but no good. I ended up pulling apart and finding the combustion chamber full of soot. Cleaned out and working beautifully. Great advise on changing from Hz to C. 👍👍

Hello , i have same problem but can you explain how you did that ?

Had the same issue. Had run well for many months until the coldest and wettest night of the trip LOL. I had extended the exhaust hose to the back of the sprinter. SOOO what they don't tell you is the exhaust needs to be an an incline so water and such can drain from it. The exhaust hose was full of water and diesel and it was not flowing well.

In the instructions I got , it actually states it should be incline. Page 17 in the included 74 page manual shipped with the heater....

Oh Thank you for posting this video!!! I watched so many other videos even bought a new battery etc. and couldn't get it to start, watched your video, went out and primed it BAM! heat is back on! Again Thank you so much from a not frozen anymore WA. state! :O)

WTH ? Camera problems.. no one can remember the sequence of pressing the buttons .

Hello will, i have been converting my 2008 Ford Transit, and have been working on this over the passed few months. I had installed the heater and all was well, but not really used it due to the nice weather weve been having. But now i have tried to get it going, but keep getting the E-10 error. Good v blog -

Hi thanks for the video,i ran mine 2 months tore it down clean as if new put back together.First my code was e8 then went to e10,my fix was burping my fuel pump. Running good now

What do you mean by burping the fuel pump i got the same e10 was running will last night and no bubbles in fuel line

@@rudivandoornegat2371 I have had it installed in the van for nearly a year now. I must admit I hadn't used it for a couple of months over summer when I should have turned it on for a bit. But it was working fine for a few weeks and now always E10 I've checked the fuel line that's ok. The pump is clicking. I think maybe soot build up or new glow plug to try next?

@@alphablu3938 E10 is fuel related for most models: First check the most obvious: Diesel in the tank? Diesel in the whole fuel line? No air bubbles in the whole fuel line? Fuel pump working? It works, that's good! Next check the still obvious: Does the fuel filter seems to be clean? Is there a vent hole in the cap of the tank? Is the vent unobstructed to let air in? Is the diesel old (diesel degrades in quality over time if it stands still)? Does the fuel pump get enough electricity, meaning is your battery okay (above 12.5V)? Next the difficult: It may be soot particles Reset the heater (take the electricity off by unplugging, and plug in again) Start again and check all symbols on the display (fuel pump, fan, glow plug) It takes 5 minutes to turn on the heater as well as to turn off the heater. This is nerve wrecking when you're trouble shooting, but don't touch it for 6 minutes if the heater turns on or off. It's busy with checks and preparations (warm up or cool down) to prevent damage. If it still doesn't work, blow a lot of air into the small diameter air intake of the combustion chamber. This is to blow the soot particles of the glow plug etc. Try to start again. Check also if exhaust pipe is straight enough and can't hold water, from condensation or rain and if the fan rotates. Next the very difficult (don't trust me anymore if you have reached this stage, because I'm not an expert): It may be the glow plug and/or atomizer, that has to cleaned. So you'll have to go carefully inside the heater with the proper tools. If that doesn't help you'll have to clean inside the furnace, which means taking the whole heater apart. If that doesn't help the glow plug may have to be replaced, and that is expensive. An electrician can test if it work. If all this has failed, the circuit board may be faulty and has to be replaced.

Turns out my pump had fallen down. I’d suspended it with some cable ties so that it doesn’t do the knocking sound. Have had a few long ish journeys and not checked status of it.

Watched a bunch these videos, none seem to tell how to get past or clear the Error Codes. I had an E-10 and could see tons of air in our fuel lines. But we could not enter manual prime mode. The keystrokes to enter prime only work from the default screen ( where the time is displayed ) ~ Being stuck on E-10 we could not solve the problem by priming. Eventually we unplugged the controller for a few minutes. When reconnected the E-10 gone and we were able to enter prime mode and clear the air from the lines.

Here is an easy tip. I fitted a diesel heater into my parents van. when they came back from a trip it was doing the white smoke, no heat thing and E10 code. As it turned out they accidently turned the heater down and not off. When I turned the heater back on I turned it up to 35 and "Wallah" , Heater fired up> !!

I have the same problem It works fine 1 week and gets clogged up I clean the inside after 1 week it's full again I got it mounted 1 month ago and cleaned it 5-6 times..

Moin, Ich und meine Freundin sind auf dem Weg in den Süden und als wir die standheizung wieder anmachen wollten zeigte er aufeinmal die Fehlermeldung E10 an, bedeutet, dass er zu wenig Diesel bekommt und er nichts entzünden kann. Ich habe mir den Schlauch angeguckt (ist an den Tank angeschlossen) und festgestellt beim ansaugen das dort nur luft kommt aber kein Diesel obwohl der direkt an den Tank geht. Was meint ihr kann ich noch probieren oder wo liegt das Problem? Ich habe es auch schon entlüftet allerdings ohne erfolg. Danke für die Antworten 🙋‍♂️🙏

Can you actually tell us what e 10 is straight away

very simple🔥🔥🔥Clean the inside of the diesel pump. You can use a cleansing spray. If not, replace the pump. I did it myself today I did it. good luck to all.

Thanks Will. My digital display seems to be unique. That's helped. I can see by observing my pump in action that it is consistently pumping tiny bubbles into the fuel line so I guess I'll have to add clips on all the joins. Heater is currently running fine with a huge bubble mid-line, two puddles of diesel, one at each end and a steady flow of diesel between them. Also my digital display seems to be unique. The operation of the various buttons bears no relation to anything described in any manual or online. I can scroll though the various settings but when I try to change any of them with the up/down buttons it immediately jumps to the Hz setting and starts to change that. To no avail, nothing seems to change about the operation of the heater. All I can reliably do is turn it on and off! Any ideas?

Chinese diesel heater pumps ALWAYS have air bubbles in the line which is one of the reason you need to use the hard plastic fuel line it came with.

On mine what you do you go to the Hertz setting you press both up and down buttons at the same time and hold them that changes it to Celsius that is the procedure to change most of the settings that I've come across but I am nowhere near an expert I've only owned one for 3 months

Mine smokes like crazy, E-10, its getting fuel, only use deisle,, probably full of soot , taking these things apart looks like a project

pudiste resolver? estoy tambien con codigo E.-10 es una Actemax, aparentemente la bombita despues de dos años dijo basta, la probe afuera con 12v directo y tira presion , pero conectada no llega a enviar gasoil... comentame si pudiste resolver?
