😂It's true. Chinese writing system is a whole different one than western languages. There's no easy way but to read more to get your eyes familiar with them. Try use some Chinese apps like WeChat or Xiaohongshu. It'll help.

Yes! Radical of 湖 is 氵。 But radical of 过 is 辶。
