Absolutely mate ! I’m so glad LSP reached out before I started the trip. So much good info in there I learnt to about these caravan components.

Same thing happened to ours when it went out to birdsville and it's got 2 massive rubber stone deflectors. We were gonna raptor it but got advised due to raptor being so hard when it dries it will chip again we use a slightly softer based stone chip paint and it works a treat. Loving the content mate good to see someone revamping a van instead of buying the latest setup 🤙🏻

Yeah I think I might run some Convayor belt under the van then Il repaint it like you have 😁

Another solid and simple upgrade is ditch the chains and get the limit straps for the trailing arms.

We pick up our brand new Jayco Outback in a couple weeks, this will be the first thing I do. My car is all remote res adjustable Dobinsons so the van will get the same.

Great to see your changing Pedders Aust engineered suspension for equal Dobinson brand. JAYCO are one of only to use Australian developed and engineered suspension to suit weight and road conditions.

Good vid Good to know upgrades are available Also, looks like you need some rock tamers

Yeah I have some on the Ftruck, I think I need another set under the van also or some Convayor belt. Dam those rocks are harsh ! 😅

about time 15:15 - there is a loose screw on the clamp holding your pipe - these selg tappers are known to not be suitable of dynamic situations One reason the van goes airbourne is lack of suspension travel in the extension

looks great might hit these guys up to fix my rear suspension in the car, just wondering can you buy the torqit mudflaps anywhere? thanks ty great video once again

Yeah absolutely the galvanised chassis is taking some punishment but the “black” coating they use definitely not up to the task. Il probably raptor coat it in the near future.

Yep heaps of vans have great gear from the start. I had a budget to stick to with our van, plus I wanted to feature good companies who make aftermarket equipment for them.

You're lucky you swing arms weren't made of porous cast alloy - I've seen that before. The whole arms just fall apart.....

Cub, Trak, AOR etc………rest is pretty, but pretty ordinary
