There is something that will trump any sort of anti-China, and that is "better and cheaper". If Chinese products offer that, than Americans will end up buying those products no matter how many anti-China sentiment there might be. An example is back in the 80s when Japanese cars took over America despite all the anti-Japan rhetoric.

It depends on whether the Chinese cars will be made with the quality most people associate with Chinese products, low. Americans dumped American car makers for Japanese cars because they were recognized to be of much higher quality and reliability.

these days, with same price in china locally, chinese car is guaranteed has higher quality than other cars or when u compare cars with same quality, chinese car is always cheaper but this is bound locally in china, since it would be more expensive after export

lol when it comes to murican economy (in GDP nominal, not PPP), amrikis say USA IS THE RICHEST IN THE WORLD. Not one of the richest (along with China and India). I wonder why ??

The first ones already came to Europe like 2 years ago, now you see commercials for a new brand every other month it feels like. They offered some amazing lease deals when they first came but now with higher interest rates and disappearing EV subsidies prices have gone up a lot.
They still pay with printed money? They get them easily.
Wonder if this strategy will permeate the US Car producers/retailers. I wouldn't want some stranger driving my car lol. Strategy seems more in line with Enterprise or other car rental companies.

$600 per month including insurance is a bargain. Car buyers now on average pay $1000+ per month on loan, and probably $100+ on monthly car insurance.

Somehow, the Chinese have been the most productive international patents maker according to wipo in the past few years. The Chinese also the champions on international math olympiads, international physics olympiads, international chemistry olympiads, international science olympiads, and international olympiads of informatics, for over 20 years with most gold medals acquired. Those many brilliant brains over many many years must yield many positive things.

China's support for Russia in Ukraine is turning a lot of people (like me) off many products from China. I say this as someone who already owns a Chinese electric car (MG ZS EV). I love my car. It's great. But while China supports Russia's terrorism I am avoiding Chinese products as much as possible. Not just cars. Everything.

you can try, any product in this world are made by china as finished product, or made with chinese parts and production materials, namely those made in japan or korea, still made with chinese parts and chemical or metal or texture, for example, there are some US brands of PPE (Masks and gloves and so on), all of them are made with chinese material on chinese machines that make masks, so good luck, what ever you buy , china makes money from you
