I'm in love with the efficiency of the strokes with Chinese brush painting. The same strokes used to paint the inner petals are also used to define the edges of the outer petals. And it requires such precise understanding of forms and values, I could never. :((((

People are always amazed to watch an artist like this in one simple stroke define and shape so perfectly and exactly. But there is the story of the artist who could paint perfect herons. And demonstrated 1 stroke to paint a bird so beautifully and was asked how he could ever do such a thing so perfectly, he opened his cabinet where sheet after sheet of 1000 attempts to do it that turned out poorly fell out.

sdovas, ah...yes...practice. I'm amazed at the confidence some people display in expecting to watch such a video and think they now have learned a new technique to recreate a beautiful work such as this. Although the artist makes it appear to be easy.....therein lies the talent!🎨☺
