Yes! Overall, the air quality is MUCH improved over when we lived in China about 8 years ago. We moved back in August last year and the air in October has been the best so far!

The place which you thought was beihai park what was that called ? & was stunning where the boats in that water was ? Roughly 16 mins into the video ?❤

It's QianHai (前海), which is just north of Beihai Park (it's maybe only a 5 or so minute walk from Beihai's north gate). Very beautiful!
