In fact it's true that there are many muslims in China specifically the Hui and Uighurs minorities, but one thing to be sure of is that China would NEVER become an Islam country or somehow islamized under some circumstance, it'll still never be a religious one, Islam will be sinicized by the Chinese. I'm spreading out this information from a strictly Chinese's perspective as me being a Chinese myself, First off, the ugly side of Chinese culture is that no matter you're Christian, Muslim, Buddhists, Taoists, we ranked Money and prestige over all other things including Gods, we prayed to our own beliefs oftenly is asking for more money and fame, which dignity and even gods could be thrown away completely when it comes to selecting between them. Christianity is on the rise in China, which is a clear trend as proven by Wikipedia sources, but I too don't see it to become a reality where it roses to becoming a Christian nation, persecutions and government pressure aside, it is the sole cultural beliefs and consensus built by the Chinese passed down from the ancestors, religion would never be our priority list to look forward in life. Second of that is that although there are good islamic teachings like the donating 2% of income to the poor and ramadhan to reflect the poor living experiences, but I could 100% assure u this would not be popularised even if Chinese were to converted to Islam, cause our cultural beliefs love money so much that we see nothing prioritise over them, Ramadhan which would affects our earning capabilities and capacity? Hack no, that's why I pinpointed that even if we were to become an Islamic state these teachings were meant to be abolished, maybe we can chg the contents of the QURAN lol ( no offense, but that's what The chinese would do) If Islam must to come to China it must accept it's fate of sinicization, where certain practices must be changed, like Ramadhan, the charity system and Most importantly, Consumption of pork, PORK in fact is not seen as just mere meat in Chinese culture, it is seen as the sign luxurious and wealth, Pork far outweighs the other meat when it comes to Chinese taste preference. Nothing can outbeats pork, so in short We might be willing to give up on Alcohol (which is fine for me, I don't drink) but please no one's gonna take away pork from our dieting menu, if Islam was to be able to make some compromise over there, I'm well at it haha the same were to be said to other Chinese I think. One more thing is the 5 times prayers thingy, I can 100% assure that will not be happening as Chinese are already complaining there are not enough time to earn money, rather than spending so much time praying which would not help economically, best case scenario is that maybe we can just pray in our mind for that requirement? So ya for conclusion if there weren't so many resteictions in Islam, Chinese would consider on joining them as well, just my 2 cents, have a nice day.

All Western religions were purged in China during by one Chinese emperor so the remainder reside in India, particularly Gujarat if I'm not mistaken, where the statistics seem to indicate they are well taken care of, by their financial wealth, and they've taken care of India also. There is a small minority that live in Iran though, and they won't last another 25 years, I guarantee you that. The government's policies make their extinction inevitable.

Muhammad Arif Noor As a Christian I agree! As a Christian, if I found a Koran, (even if it was damaged) I would try to find a Muslim or a Mosque to return it to. This includes any religious book (unless Satanic, only exception to that rule) I would take care of it out of respect. Any religion in any extreme is dangerous in my opinion...this includes politics too. I think religious moderates need to band together to eliminate the extremists. Repression is a great way of making people go extreme.....to deadly results! 9/11 terrified me as a kid, I became Agnostic afterwards. But I have meet some very kind Muslims, so I refuse to point at a religion and say “they are all bad”. All religions have skeletons in their closets. Christians, Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, ext ext. Frankly, we should not ignore those past sins, but learn from them instead. Then be one better people for those wronged in the past.

Cut Loose Thanks. I live by a simple rule...you respect my religion (and me as a person) and I will respect you. Agree to disagree on some things, and find what we have in common. Being slightly autistic I can come off as a bit “weird” sometimes. But I am curious and willing to learn. I avoid changing my opinion on the spot.....I will listen. But I find I need time to ruminate and think about our discussion. I may find after a few days or more I actually agree or at least see how you see your point of view as being right (and for what reasons). Moderation, not extremism, is the key to world peace I believe.

There are no laws that restrict practicing any faith or religion in Pakistan , but the blasphemy laws prohibit the insult of Islamic figures , it's very normal cuz not all Hindus are as dumb as Indians so they don't have to fight Muslims all the time , Muslims , Hindus , Christians live very peacefully together over here.
