Thats a good aircraft carrier. There economy can afford it. But still US have upper hand due to 1st island chain and 2 island chain surrounding chineese coastal area. But power projection of china may have an higher impact if they build more of this carriers.

Absolutely unique and powerful warship in the world, propelled by the combustion of fossil fuels, but have three electro-magnetic catpults. I am expecting the new stealth jet fighter take off and soar into the sky!!

this is a game changer for china.. Once the kinks are ironed out we will see china develop 5 - 6 more of these class of carriers. And of course 2 will be given free to pakistan

With 5 carriers, China may deploy a carrier group permanently at gwadar naval base. It will be a major challenge for india. Pakistan can't afford aircraft carrier. So it won't happen. But china may supply more additional submarines to pakistan. The island nations in indian ocean will be key strategic places for both india & china.

That's true.. just like the Type 052D destroyer.. China is pretty much capable to build 3 carriers at one go. So I think there will be 2 tracks of carrier development.. 1) The nuclear type 004, with 110 K tones weight, to surpass the Ford class.. 2) Continue building multiple of Type 003 (with slight variants, say 003B), probably 2 at a time.

You sound like smart but.... USA nuclear aircaft carrier are ancient Steam Ship. Nuclear is to boil water. Don't assume like STARK"s chest nuclear unit to power Nuclear Motor.. Nuclear Motor does not exist till date. Nuclear are needed to boil water to convert to Steam. The steam is harvested amd send to Piston and Turbine Engine to drive the propeller and electric Generator. Fujian also uses steam but instead of Nuclear, thry use bunker oil to fire the boiler. If everything tested OK in Fujian, Fujian can be easily converted into Nuclear Boiler.

Its the looking aircraft to look at its Awsome thats the more its out the better it will get with more crusing and testing

Will be a brown water navy for years. Inexperienced flight crews and lack of support ships will take years to over come. The lack of actual combat and the ability of control under pressure needs to be address sooner than just believing the hype
