Ha, what a load of sh-t. Black Americans are the most segregated demographic in America - you’re all culturally pan-african and separatist. Why do you think blacks all voluntarily stick together in the inner cities instead of intermingling with the rest of Americans? Simple - culturally Black America is as racist as the old Anglo Saxon Protestant stock. Prejudice and bigotry are all too common in Black America. As a Latino, I’ve seen with my own two eyes and ears the things black people from the hood utter at non-black people.

@Knicks33...half true. We are taught HOW to deal with others, but told not to trust anyone too deep, especially 'them'😉. Another thing we are taught is that no matter how good we are, no matter what we achieve, to 'them' we are always an N word. Gotta be 5 times better, to get half the prize. Look up the history of chess and the reason why white goes 1st. They based a whole world society system off of that.

As a Chinese man born in nyc in the 80’s I’m sorry that this is your reality. It may not be your fault. But it isn’t the fault of Asian people either. Many Chinese people open restaurant to make money or drive a cab. For Chinese people the reality is when we get mugged it’s 90% by black people. When Chinese people deliver food to black people they get robbed by the persons friend ordering the food usually. Someone orders tells their friend that an orders coming and the Chinese delivery guy gets robbed then the man who is supposedly waiting for the food complains “. Hey where’s my food “. Now for cab drivers. Why many cab drivers don’t pick up black people when they have a chance not to is because every other race is 99% fine but when we pick up a black person. They will rob or jump the fate about 50% of the time. Now if you were Chinese wouldn’t you do the same and not pick up a black person. Do you see the reality of an Asian person. Asians generally work very hard and we deal with this type of stuff almost exclusively from black people. Is it us that are racist or is it black people that are racist and pick on Asian people. When these kinda things happen to an Asian man or women doing their job. They will teach their kids to watch out for black people cause they rob us beat us call us ching Chong etc. can you blame Asians for the experience they have? Also I personally have black friends that are great people but I trust them due to knowing them personally but if I didn’t know him personally I would also not pick him up driving a cab. He also knows my point of view and understands why. Not all black people are bad but there are enough that are that the general population will always be wary of them regardless if they admit to it or not.

They mimic us but for the most part do not hire us. They really dont want us to become empowered economically because it would effect them. If we open and only support our businesses it would have a violent effect on other communities. They know this. Its as simple as that. Pay close attention. When asked about racism from Chinese people towards the black community, He chose to compare Asian cultural with the black prison experience as oppose to Asian cultural vs black cultural. So that tells you that even tho was raised in n our community he was He was still taught to think of us a certain way because the first thing that came to his mind about our people was prison. Now if the question was Asian prison culture vs Black prison culture then that would be different and I’m not saying he did it on purpose cuz I know he’s not racist but it’s just how he was raised and taught from his ppl ESPECIALLY because he’s in our community. His choice of words like “we move smarter with our shit” is a perfect arrogant example of the verbiage they are indoctrinated with since a youth as it pertains to the awareness of growing up in a black/Latin community. Shit is wild. He literally compared the good and “smart” side of Asian cultural vs the negative and ignorant side of black cultural n pretty much generalized all of us blacks into one category.. wild LOL smh He deflected yes. But not so much on purpose but some of it was indeed intentional. Pay attention y’all. Blacks only have an alliance with Afro-Latinos n that’s because they both come from the mother land so there’s a common ground. N yes I know there’s bias n discrimination from Latinos as well especially the white Latinos because a part of their lineage is also the slave master. So yeah. Shit is deep tho. It’s good to have these convos but we gotta stop letting ppl off the hook with deflecting questions if we wanna start these uncomfortable conversation

I'm pretty that just comes from China Mac just having a hard time answering the question, you have to think about it....He's not book smart, he spent most his life in the street and prison so his interview skills is not that high leveled. But, let me try to explain...I grew up in the Hood, in a pro-dominantly black community/hood- Oakland, CA (Home of the Black Panther) and I'm going to keep it 100! Most Asian parents (Keyword: Most) do be saying foul stuff to their kids from time to time growing up about Black folks due to the fact that most older Asians in the U.S. are immigrants, so their minds are in a way "Sheltered" or "Not open-minded" a mindset that has been past down from generations...So, what they SEE and/or HEAR from the NEWS and people, they really soak that shit up, mainly the news channels. And what do News Channels mainly promote? Black crime, black criminals, etc...Which, leads to FEAR and fear leads to HATE, especially when they hear about stories of relatives/friends getting robbed, beat up, etc....It's like HATE for black folks is basically taught by America, period. Luckily, I'm not a typical housed scared brain-washed Asian guy...I went to school in the hood and hung out with every race, majority black folks tho as they showed me the most love and even though I came across issues outside of school with black folks trying to punk me, that didn't change my love for black folks. Somethings in this world we need to change and that Asian fear of Black folks is a cycle I'm going to break as I want my kids to love all!

China Max is obviously someone who can think for himself despite what his grandfather express to him. However if his grandfather came to this country during the 1970’s, he may have had some bad experience with black and brown individuals which might make him either fearful or distant which is why context matters on both sides. This is why Chinese tends to avoid discussions with black people. No matter what they say, blacks always find a way to play victim, act like the Chinese is racist. In this day and age where people go reporting you, calling the police, trying to humiliate you in public and ruining your life, it's simply not worth the risk discussing this topic. Much easier to find a politically correct excuse to dismiss that person.

As an Asian man (Cambodian) growing up in the hood in Toronto, we Asians grew up mixed w Hispanics and West Indian folk and other cultures. We weren’t divided, We were always one. I feel that race became more of an issue as we became older, into our late teens and adulthood. Nonetheless, the bigotry wasn’t an issue or perhaps prevalent as a youngster. My shorty’s Chinese and her parents did not want her to mix w me initially because I’m considered a “jungle Asian” - supposedly we’re inferior lol. As I learned more about the intricacies of Chinese culture and day to day stuff, I see that their superior complex and bigotry really stems from a systemic cultural brainwashing if you will. China is a communist country. They were born and raised to believe they are the best, just like the Jews were born to believe they are the Chosen people. To be self reliant and only mix w themselves. Even Bruce Lee got in trouble for teaching non Chinese! it’s just their belief. However those old beliefs are being broken down. Toronto as a city is a super melting pot and you can see all types of mixed race babies and relationships out here, my homeboys married to a Jamaican shorty, so with that being said I think the dynamics in America’s society is a lot different based on your nations history with systemic racism. I hope this helps. Peace and love.

I dislike humanity in general but I love individuals. Race doesn't decide how I see a person. In reality all the older Asians seem to dislike all races as well. They complain about everything like any old person would regardless of race. It's because old people aren't use to change and prefer things their way. That just what made them happy for many years until people trying to force them to change. Regardless people shouldn't be attacking and killing old Asians. That's EVIL. That makes you way worst.
