____________________________________
Rapper China Mac sat down with DJ Vlad for a second time to discuss what it was like growing up with his father being an active member of the Chinese Mafia. He also spoke about how the soured relationship with his dad, led him to join the rival gang "Ghost Shadows" at 11 years old after his dad snitched on Machine Gun Johnny.
China Mac quickly became a product of his environment and soon found himself in a situation where he would shot MC Jin's associate in the back. He talks about being on the run for a year and then all the issues he faced in the prison system.

China Mac got a real quality to him, like he not trying to be “this or that” as far as playing into the stereotype, he just one of those few anomaly as far as his story being authentic, and he speaks on what it was, and what it is from his perspective....gotta respect it. #Salute

Rone I think he means he’s not trying to portray a hardcore image when he says “be this or that”. He’s not trying to promote himself as being this gangsta like most do. He’s just humbly telling his story from the heart.

The Chinese mafia is far more sophisticated than most other gangs. They originated as Ming Dynasty loyalists and have deep roots in ancient Chinese beliefs. Its nice China Mac shed some light on this.
