Most Aussies don’t think much of America. Americans just like to think we do. America bullies Australia as well and we deal with it without wanting to make an enemy of the US, or anyone for that matter. Constantly having to deal with the propaganda from the West, we fall victim to it unfortunately, though times are changing. It is in our best interest to be on good terms with China, as well as most countries. Making enemies is what America seems to enjoy.

China are not imposing sanction in any single country, but U.S. already make 20 countries sanctions, that is why more and more countries want to join the BRICS, and the BRICS currency are fair and equity, e.g. 1 US Dollar is 60 PH Pesos, while in BRICS propose currency is 1 BRICS currency is only 25 PH pesos and it would be much lower if finalized and more countries to join BRICS

strength is the only thing the Anglo nations understand and i speak from the perspective of an Australian citizen. If China is strong, and resilient and cant be shaken by American, then Australia will come back to China as a trading partner. On the same not if Iran is extremely strong, then the genocide being committed against Palestinians will quickly end and peace negotiations will start. China is doing well by strengthening both its military and its network of allies. We need America to loose its hegemon status while also avoiding nuclear Armageddon, and to do that, nations like Australia must see both strength and mutual benefit to switch sides as opposed to helping America make war to maintain dominance.

Anglo-Saxon blood is thicker than water. And thus it's OK for Australia to side with its big brother like the U.K., Canada and New Zealand always do. However, just don't demonize Chinese or do anything that affects the development of the Chinese nation. China wants a stable relationship that is mutually beneficial but is never afraid to fight back, no matter what. The big bully has lost its hegemon crown and can no longer shout commands to anyone.

In terms of resources, China and Australia are most complimentary to each other. Australia's irrigation is less than ideal. As and when Australia decides to further improve its irrigation system it could become the greatest food hub in the Pacific region, supplying high quality food products to the rising food market in ASEAN countries. This could be done together will China yielding long lasting economic benefit to Australia. Australia electricity prices are controlled by a few power companies with US at the back. They are charging super high electric prices. Australia has vast deserts suitable for development of green energy yet it is falling much behind in terms of green energy. I am confident that they could easily attract Chinese investors to invest. Why not. Let's make friends, peace and wealth.

It's great to see a thriving China prosper and hopefully in taking its turn at showing humanity a way forward it continues to pursue with integrity the drive towards a more humane economic and social future, and retains its commitment to a socialist future, as the weary toxic capitalism of the west falters so horribly. You are wrong to say Australia is in NATO (un unsurprising error tho-why wouldm't we be in a "defensive alliance" centred on the North Atlantic ... lol. Australia is only in the new AUKUS of evil! Such a pity Australia is unlikely not going to be able to fully benefit from, or contribute to, the exciting future that a reinvigorating China promises-at least until it can disentangle itself from the thrall of the wrecking ball that is now the belligerent US. That is IMHO highly unlikely before the US itself collapses. Such a shame!
