The US is still the most powerful and richest country in the world. China is offering an alternative (to the West) path to development for all countries, especially the developing ones. Whereas the West create/instigate wars and conflicts to maintain their hegemonic system, China is offering a path of peace and infrastructure development to enhance trade between countries. If the West truly respect Democracy, they should acknowledge that majority (150 out of about 190) countries of the world had chosen to follow China's lead.
