Surprisingly, this exact plane currently sits abandoned at Tijuana International Airport in Mexico. I actually photographed the plane when I went to Tijuana. It was so sad to see the plane decaying, especially after all it went through back in 1985.

@Scemmer "it was also his fault for getting restless while he had time to rest" I wouldn't even say that, either. Jet lag is out of a human being's control. The human body needs more than one night to adjust to a different timezone, and Captain Ho and his crew had crossed over six different timezones forwards and backwards over the past six days in the lead-up to their incident flight.

Not a 747sp in simulation

The 747SP is 14m/46ft shorter than the 747-200 yet it has the same wingspan and a larger tail, probably helped it stay stable during the dive.

I have no words to describe how this plane can hold up that easily

Imagine seeing that on the beach. It doesn’t hit the water but manages to sail overhead and avoid touching anything. So close you can probably read its side

The plane used in this animation is a 747-300 with 20 windows on the upper deck (like a 747-200) when it's supposed to be a 747SP And at 1:20, no 3D buildings modelled (like Aeromexico 498's animation)

Goes to show how good the Queen of the skies is. The incredible B747. This incident is referred to as "Aerobatics in a jumbo".

Finally you're able to release China Airlines 006 video

This is just a testament to how durable those old Boeings really were.

I remember seeing this case on Mayday Air Catastrophes, these people were just minutes away from dying, the plane was about to hit the sea, God free us from a situation I did, It shouldn't be easy to be in a situation like this. One question. Is the 747 no longer manufactured? Why do I know that the A380 is not manufactured, I only see that the United States uses the 747 for cargo, but other airlines from other countries still have the active 747, but we have to be realistic, there are already new planes, we are living in new times. Over time more and more new planes will come.
